[Don’t worry! Estelle will help her find one cute pair! Maybe frilly pink ones, or just red ones to match her normal attire. Oh, maybe they should go looking for a matching let of lingerie as well. They could try things on together, see what looks cute on each other…hopefully Rita wouldn’t find anything too wrong with that.]

Well, I don’t think it would be very wise to be walking around with underwear, so I believe we should tour the town first. [Then after that’s all done, they can be rewarded by going lingerie shopping!]

[Probably not wrong as much as horribly embarrassing even if maybe it's kind of okay with Estelle. Although Rita might just draw the line at frills.

That's logical enough--and she thinks a tour won't take long.] Yeah, okay...

[She thinks for a moment, then points vaguely in the direction of the centre of the the city.] The fountain where you arrived is over that way in the middle. I'm pretty sure the deities' place is over there, too.

[Okay, so no frills. That’s understandable. Though that won’t stop Estelle from trying! Just the sentiment of lingerie shopping with her friend was exciting enough, so she should just focus on that.]

So the fountain is the middle of the city. [That actually makes sense, especially since that was where she had arrived. Even more sense that the deities would be living in the middle of the city.] I obviously know about the forest and the beach, so it is everything else that I really don’t know about. [A simple layout of the city would be enough for her. It’s a matter of gathering such information for her internal encyclopedia, then researching or running off and exploring herself later.]

[She will absolutely refuse the frills! Probably. In any case, they need to get the "tour" out of the way first.

Rita nods distractedly--that's two things she doesn't really need to mention, then--and continues.] Almost, but not exactly. It's part of the centre square, but there's this weird carousel thing directly in the middle. You might've seen it from the fountain.

Oh, and there's apartment buildings all around the edge of the city. Between those and the centre, there's shops, libraries, a hospital, things like that. [Since Rita is the worst tour guide ever, she'll at least give Estelle a map for her device so the other girl can self-study.]

[Estelle nods once at the mentioning of the carousel. She had remembered seeing up upon her arrival and was one of the things she remembered clearly if only because it was something that had caught her eye.] Yes, I do remember seeing that.

[Oh, and there’s a library? Well, if Estelle’s not in the house, then that’s the next place she will be! At least it seems to be within the city limits, according to the map she just received, so it will probably distract her twice over before she manages to get too far and attempt to explore on her own.] So, all the important buildings are between these apartments and the center of the city. [Well, at least this odd place was built in such a fashion that seemed logical to keep their residences somewhat comfortable aside from these curses.]

Yeah, most of them. There's stuff under the city, too--in the Underground. [Where her tone was casual before, she gets a bit more serious. The Underground might have some interesting things, but she doesn't think it's the best place for Estelle. Not by herself, at least.] It's a pretty seedy place though, and there's monsters further down.

[She was interested in this Underground, but she caught on to the change of tone in Rita’s voice. Given that, it was probably best that she not wander there, at least not by herself. Yes, she was curious about it, but it was best not to worry her companions that were here.] So you are telling me to not go down there on my own, am I correct? [She offered Rita a smile and giggled a little too, in appreciation for her friend’s concern.]

[And Rita might misinterpret that a bit, her worry for Estelle making her want to be absolutely certain that Estelle's aware of what she could be getting into.] I'm serious, okay? Don't wander off to any weirdo places! [She's not harsh at all--just clearly concerned.]

[She nodded once at Rita’s concern, though there was still a hint of a playful smile on her face. Not that she wasn’t listening, just that she understood.] I promise, Rita. I won’t wander off to those places. [All that she needed to know right now was where the library was, and that would keep her attention for the time being. Any place where books are, she is bound to be as well.]

[And Rita relents, trusting for now that Estelle has the message, at least. The library's more her friend's style, anyway.]

Good. I think that's about all the important stuff--oh, wait. [Just in case...] There's also the Hall of the Missing. That place has a bunch of pictures up of anyone who's left the City.

[The Hall of the Missing…she can’t help but wonder…] Was my picture there before I returned just recently? [Because from her welcome to the City, people knew that she had left.

However, if that tour was everything then, she was ready to start shopping for underwear!]

Yeah...You've been here a couple times, so it was. [Even if Rita never stopped by to see; once for confirmation that Estelle had left was enough. It might be something her friend's more interested in, though.] There's still pictures of Judith and the old man there.

[And unless Estelle has more questions, Rita's a little lacking in enthusiasm, but just as ready.]

[She nods, her expression deflating just a little bit.] I’m sorry you had to experience seeing my picture there. [And she had heard that Judith and Raven were here at one point, so she didn’t question that or give Rita a curious look and instead just gave another nod at that.

But soon her usual smile returned to her face as she gently grabbed one of the mage’s hands in excitement.] Shall we be going to shop for underwear now?

[She blinks in return, looking up with mild surprise.] Huh? It's not...You don't have to apologize for something like that.

[A blush then creeps over her face, though she makes no complaints about Estelle taking her hand.] Okay, okay, let's go. [Before she announces it in public again-!]

Oh, I don’t? [It was still something she felt she should be sorry for, but if Rita said she didn’t, then she won’t be. Instead, she will try not to leave again, though it sounds like something like disappearing from the City was against anyone’s wills.

With a smile and a giggle, she squeezes Rita’s hand once.] Where to?

You seriously don't, okay? [Rita would only blame the City.

It's been a while since they were able to go somewhere like this, and she can't help but smile in return as she moves forward to lead them to a nearby store.] I think the one we want should be right over here...

[That place with the various mannequins in lingerie in the windows--some of it frilly or lacy, which Rita's not gonna touch.]

[And as soon as she sees the store with the mannequins wearing lovely little pieces of lingerie, she immediately starts pulling Rita in that direction. They’re going in and they’re going to find the young mage lovely underwear! And of course her attention goes to the lacy underwear as that’s Estelle’s preference. To her, it’s a sin to wear underwear less lovely than her clothing.]

[She makes a little hum of surprise, but follows easily. Though as much as she'd like to ignore the lacy ones, Estelle's doing just the opposite...] Y-you're not...actually into those ones, are you?

[Picking up a pair of lacy white panties with a floral pattern on it, she examines it then looks at Rita with a somewhat curious expression on her face.] This kind of underwear is my preference if that is what you’re asking. [Sorry Rita, royals wear fancy underwear. But this isn’t about her, so she sets them down and looks around the store.] What kind of underwear do you prefer, Rita?

[...Maybe she should've expected that, but...there's no hiding the distaste on her face. She practically feels itchy just looking at them.] Not that kind.

[Glancing around, she finds something more to her liking: plain cotton. Especially the black.] I'm just gonna get some of those ones... [And totally not glance at some that have cute designs like cats. Not at all. (Okay, a little.)]

[Black was never Estelle’s preference in underwear, but she understands how it would be Rita’s. Though she does catch her glancing really quickly at the ones with the kitty prints on them and walks over there to pick up a pair of those!] Rita! These ones are really cute, too! [Look at all the cute kitty silhouette designs it has as she holds them up in front of the other girl!]

Huh? Uh...y-yeah...They're not bad. [It's like Estelle knew exactly where she was definitely not looking. And that she knew Rita would find it definitely not cute-! (It's so cute. Meow.) Blushing, she takes the pair from Estelle, glances it over, and bunches it up in her hands to hang onto.] I guess I'll get this one...

[Hearing Rita saying that she would get the pair that Estelle picked out and thought were cute only made a sense of accomplishment well up inside of her.] I’m glad! I’m sure they will be so cute on you! [Okay, so Rita won’t be showing them off to anyone, but still! Wearing cute underwear makes a girl feel cute. And Estelle has now run off to the lacy underwear section once more, picking up some rose colored ones as well as some of her classic white ones. Looking around, she also saw some bras and couldn’t help but go and pick up a bra that had the same kitty cat design that were on the underwear Rita chose to get.] Look at this bra! It matches that pair of underwear you picked out! [She's having way too much fun with this.]

[She immediately sputters and starts to protest that how they look on her doesn't matter, but her friend's already moving on. Well, Rita's still getting them, and a matching bra-

Wait.] Estelle, I...I don't wear those, you know. [She has nothing to hold up...Not that she wants anything to get in the way and make her back sore. Not at all.]

Yep, cute as cute can be!!!

[Estelle looks back at the bra she found and back at Rita. It would fit her given it almost looks like a child’s training bra, but no less, it’s still cute!] I still think you should get it. When you wear cute underwear like this underneath your clothing, you end up feeling great all day!

[And then, suddenly an idea comes to her mind. Going back to the underwear section, she grabs a pair of kitty cat underwear herself and a matching bra her size and with a giant smile returns to Rita.] We could match! [She gets the feeling Rita wouldn’t want to wear the lacy underwear the Estelle prefers, but she would have no problem wearing cute kitty cat cotton underwear just for her friend…for the simple reason of matching.]
