Those..things yesterday--why the hell did the City let something like that loose? N-not that they were scary or anything. They weren't so tough against a few fireballs...I think we might need to replace a couple things in the house...

[The last part is muttered, but audible. Rita knows she's probably in for an earful for using magic in the house again.]

[OOC: Whether or not she blew up anything major (appliances, walls, etc) can be left up to housemates. Otherwise, it'll just be a couple small things like a light or a window.]

No kidding. We were safe after midnight, but if you had them around all the time, there'd always have to be someone standing guard, especially at night.

It sounds quite inconvenient indeed. I do wonder how the natives function normally with such a looming threat.

Mayby they're not all that common--if they were, people in that world would probably just get killed in their sleep all the time.

Not personally, but there were two of them who posted on the network about it--a woman and an older guy who didn't actually sound all that worried.

Yeah--he wasn't exactly concerned about people getting killed by them, by the looks of it.

There's definitely a variety of people. But I don't think that attitude is anything new, considering some of the jerks we had at home.

That is quite true. These creatures have appeared once before, after all... it's almost certain they'll arrive again.

That's what I heard, so we should probably expect it again. The City must like repeating the ones that cause the most problems.

It might help to get as many as we can. If only we knew ahead of time when it would happen again so we could be ready.
