Ugh! This awful--this noise--
--all day, everywhere--just hammering!
Midnight's...almost there, but--can't get rid of this--h-hammer--
I swear, if midnight doesn't...doesn't come fast enough, I'll--I'm going to hammer it! OUT OF MY HEAD!
[Rita's brain slug does not enjoy this attack, City! It's spazzing out and is seriously contemplating that hammer to the head. Though whether that last shout was really the slug or Rita herself, well...who knows? :)]
[ooc: And probably actually going to bed soon, so late replies.]

[Spreading sluggy cheer!]

[ Is Asch slugged too? :o ]
no subject
[Nope. XD Which should make things interesting.]

Switching on a flashlight, Asch points it down the hole.]
I guess this qualifies as Underground.
no subject
Who the hell was this shining a light down at them?! Tyr put an arm up to his eyes as he looked up at the red-haired man. ]
I'm pretty sure the Underground isn't part of the mountain.
no subject
W-what the hell are you doing here?!
no subject
I came for a shovel, remember? You two look cozy.
[And filthy. Whatever, it took long enough to get here, and he's not wasting any time:]
I'll kill you both if you don't answer my questions.
[Maybe even then. The weird behavior has been spreading, and Natalia likes this girl. That's enough reason.]
no subject
You're threatening to kill over a shovel? There's one right beside the hole, dumbass. Take a look around before you toss threats.
no subject
[Really, she knows the answer to that but slug feels the need to complain. Tyr's response works just fine for her, so she doesn't say anything to his threat.]

[Teeth clenching. His threshold for backtalking dreck is very low. Still holding the light, with his other hand he retrieves his network device. A few clicks, and her voice sounds, among background noise of BZZZZZZZzZZZZZ. The recording:]
"I don't care what it does to this body as long as I don't have to listen to this hellish racket anymore!"
[Click.]

Then stop messing around with your device and ask your questions.
no subject
What's your problem?
no subject
What the hell are you? Spirits or something else?
[He wasn't expecting much of an answer--not yet. Maybe a little icicle rain would loosen their tongues. They weren't going anywhere, and rain would be less showy, draw less attention than the fires of Explosion.]
no subject
We're mermaids.
no subject
It's obviously because of your pathetic eyesight you can't see his gills.
no subject
Icicle Rain.
[Reflecting the light from his flashlight as they fell, razor-sharp icicles shower into the hole.]
no subject
We answered you, you asshole! [ With that, he raises his left hand. ] If you want to fight, I'll fight you!
no subject
I don't care what your problem is, but get the hell out of here before I blast you!
[She starts casting fireball--even if it misses, it'll alert the other diggers.]
no subject
[Whatever was possessing them, it sure was stupid. But not stupid enough. It wouldn't take a genius to use a spell that would draw attention, something with fire. He doubts he can cast something faster, so he does the only thing he can think of (short of acting like a real moron and jumping in, too) -- he scoops and chucks dirt at her face.]
Finish that and I'll bury you!
[Not by throwing dirt, though now he looks like the idiot, but it'd take a little longer to threaten so that they understood, and he's working within the time-limit of her spell.]
no subject
[ Tyr glared up Asch. The fire rune he had wasn't that strong, but he certainly didn't need to know that. It would still be a two-on-one battle. ]
