Just as I said, who do you think I am? The great and genius Klarth F. Lester, who sees all. [He proudly spoke with a bit of enthusiasm. Chuckling a bit more, he settled to a warm smile as his voice conveyed just that.]
That's right. Two as a matter of fact. One is to perhaps try our previous experiment with multiple blastias in place and another is to figure out a way to create more gumis since none can be purchased here.
[She wasn't exactly a model host, after all--just another reason she didn't even consider straightening up any of the equipment, papers, books, and assorted junk that was scattered over nearly every inch of the study.
A part of her was still a little reluctant to see Klarth, would rather she just continued to hole herself up in there. But she couldn't quite resist the allure of more research.]
[ooc; Kk~ let's play around with ideas a little then~ Though mostly it'll be a consoling session I think XDD;; <3]
[Having visited numerous times before, Klarth arrived moments after and did exactly as he was told. Greeting anyone who happened to be there, he freely made his way to where she was, opening the door.]
[ooc: Okay~! And yes, it looks like it might, but that's also good. :3]
[It took half a second before she registered his voice and looked over. Her lack of energy was still obvious, but she still made an attempt at a greeting.]
Yeah...Hey.
--So, where did you want to start? [Straight to the point.]
[There was no doubt he could miss that. With a small sigh, he closed the door behind and quietly took a seat beside her. With one glance over, he spread out the various notes he's taken on possibly how many blastias would suffice as well as a list of ingredients that they could possibly find in this world to create something such as a gumi (gel).]
Going over what's feasible would be best I think. Your knowledge on blastias are far greater than mine. These are simple estimates that I made out of what I've learned thus far. [He softly explained though his sly eyes kept watch of Rita's expression.]
[She was immediately drawn to the notes, scanning them quickly, absorbing all their information, and automatically making adjustments in her mind. The way it had been done in the City until now--by an apothecary--was slow, inefficient, and costly at best. Having a blastia do the work would greatly improve the process. And it seemed like they always needed more gels...]
The ingredients should be about right...They're almost the same as the ones used on Terca Lumireis.
For the blastia--we should make it as efficient as possible. I could do it with four blastia at the most. Probably three. [She spoke half to herself; there was no denying she was already becoming absorbed in the work.]
[Rita was completely oblivious that his attention was on her. Having a project--something to solve with a goal in mind--was the perfect distraction, one she threw herself into without hesitation so that all her problems could be buried and all but forgotten for now.]
It's a simple enough process...It won't even require high levels of mana. Basically, the steps just involve mixing of the ingredients, cooking at the appropriate temperature, and then setting the gels--
Actually, forget what I said before. We won't even need three blastia for this.
[Having dug a loose sheet of paper from one of the many piles of documents, she set about drawing up a schematic for the apparatus.]
[ooc; He doesn't mean to really;; Just so happens he ends up taking care of everyone that's all lol]
Hm. We'll just need to make a mold to hold its shape.
[His eyes followed the girl's movement as she busied herself with drawing her ideas. He couldn't help but chuckle a little to seeing her so into her research. He was always amazed at just how quickly she could dive in and be absorbed. More importantly, how quickly she caught on and geared her mind. His eyes settled to a somber stare with a small smile at his lips.
Yeah. A tray with a dozen molds should be more than enough. We're not turning this into a business or anything.
[She prepared the schematic: a mixer to crush and combine the ingredients set over a vat to boil the mixture, both controlled by the same blastia, and a cooling tray adjacent to the rest.
Normally she might not have bothered to ask for someone else's opinion on her setups, but Klarth was intelligent enough. His ideas were valuable.]
What do you think of this? I'll make adjustments when I start setting up the blastia, but it's small enough that it's doable with one--if it can alternate between the heating and cooling, it shouldn't be a problem.
[ooc; Awwww~<3 And I'm soo sorry for the delay on this post =; ;= <33 I'm hoping I don't sound like an idiot in it OTL]
It's a test run after all. It would be a waste of precious resources if we were to botch it all at once. It's best to make certain the method will work before creating more anyhow.
[He carefully looked over the schematics and gave an approving nod.]
Hm. It seems all right though will it solidify at room temperature despite the cooling factor from the blastia? Perhaps we should move the tray along with the blastia to a more contained environment to enhance the process. We'll need to be cautious of how long we intend to boil it as well.
[voice]
Idiot. Who do you think I am?
[voice]
What's that supposed to mean?
[voice]

..It's all right to miss her, Rita.
[voice]
I--I know that!

Finally, she answered almost hesitantly but with obvious intrigue.] I...have been trying to convert some more blastia to mana usage...
[voice]
Good. Then let us begin, shall we? What do you say?
[voice]
[voice]
All right. I'll be there in a few.

[He confirmed before turning his device off.]
[ooc; Did you want to AP, bb? ]

[Rita would just be waiting in the study for him to arrive, staring at the book in front of her but not really reading.]

[In truth, Klarth didn't nearly care for the details as much at the moment as she seemed, watching her more than the notes itself with a small smile.
This was how young girls should be, he thought. Ah, it's truly nice to be young~
He concurred with nonchalant 'aa's and slight nods of his head as he listened on.]
