[She knows the feeling of wanting them safe back home, but it's still hard losing someone.] Is she a close friend?

[And Rita didn't realize just how used she had gotten to having Estelle around all the time. Without her, the place is...sort of empty.] Yeah, she is. But I'm--I'm glad she went home. [She sure doesn't sound glad, though.]

[Katara definitely notices that sadness, though.] We all do feel like that when someone close to us leaves, but we also can't help but feel lonely.

I--I'm not lonely! It's not like there isn't anyone else living here. [Yep, Katara picked right up on it.]

But, she's a close friend. I can understand that. I'd feel the same way if Aang was to leave. [She's not all motherly for nothing!]

[And maybe Rita can be sort of honest with her.] ...It's just that...I got used to her being here all the time.

[Aw, Rita~] I know how that feels, but I know you both would be together again someday. Hopefully back in your home worlds.

[He softly sighed.]

I'm afraid so.

It's fine. I-I'm glad she's home.

[But her voice cracks a little. It's obviously not fine.]

[It was more than obvious she wasn't. He lightly forced a laugh.]

Idiot. Who do you think I am?

[voice]

[Under different circumstances, she might be more indignant at being called an idiot. But not right now.]

What's that supposed to mean?

[He laughed a little louder.]

Just as I said, who do you think I am? The great and genius Klarth F. Lester, who sees all. [He proudly spoke with a bit of enthusiasm. Chuckling a bit more, he settled to a warm smile as his voice conveyed just that.]

..It's all right to miss her, Rita.

[She almost told him to stop flattering himself, but passed it by. Of course she missed Estelle; even that's something she couldn't deny.]

I--I know that!

[voice]

Do you? [He playfully teased.]

Who do you think I am? [She muttered it, though, not sounding very playful at all.]

[stargathering]

[ "Gone for good"? That's not supposed to be what happens. There's a pit in his stomach as he finally turns on the voice function to reply. ]

Yeah, I did it... I... [ Does she really want a play-by-play? Maybe if she asks... ] I fought her alone, and I defeated her--permanently, hopefully...

[ But he's more worried about her now. ] Are you okay, thought?

I see. Then...it better be the last time...[While she really doesn't want to get the full details, a part of her is relieved to hear from him. When he didn't get back to her right away, she might've...been more than a little worried.]

You're the one that had to fight. You didn't get hurt, did you?

[stargathering]

...Not too badly. Gremio bandaged me afterwards, so... It's nothing to worry about. [ Not everything, though. Just what didn't require him to remove his shirt. ]

[ Hesitantly, he asks what he's wanted to: ] What about Estelle, though...? You said... Did you find her?

[blastiafreak]

It was bad enough that you had to get bandaged. [Maybe she sounds just a little upset, the slightest hint of concern in her voice.]

[She sombers up at his question, though, and doesn't speak for several moments. When she does, it's softly.] ...Yeah, I...I did. She was all right.

[stargathering]

[ He nods slowly. He knows she's concerned; he can tell by the direction of this conversation if nothing else. ] I never want to like that again, that's for sure... I don't regret it, though.

[ Tyr takes his time too, his own voice sombre. ] ... So she's... really okay now?

[blastiafreak]

...Thanks. [For dealing with it, even if she's none too happy that he did it alone.] That better be the last time. --Are your injuries healed now?

[Even if she knows Estelle's safe at home, it barely makes this easier.] ...Yeah. She should be fine.

[stargathering]

[ Definitely wasn't his ideal, either. And even if it wasn't really Rita, he can't get over how brutal that fight was. ] Yeah, for the most part. [ Which is to say they still sting when he touches them. ] They weren't severe. Part of the good thing about going alone...

That's good... I'm glad you still found her before...

[She has an idea--she was that person for a weekend once, after all. Which means she isn't entirely convinced he's all right, though she won't nag.] ...If you say so. You don't need any medicine, do you?

There's no way I'd let anything happen to her. And now she's safe at home, so--there's no reason to worry.
