Ugh! This awful--this noise--

--all day, everywhere--just hammering!

Midnight's...almost there, but--can't get rid of this--h-hammer--

I swear, if midnight doesn't...doesn't come fast enough, I'll--I'm going to hammer it! OUT OF MY HEAD!

[Rita's brain slug does not enjoy this attack, City! It's spazzing out and is seriously contemplating that hammer to the head. Though whether that last shout was really the slug or Rita herself, well...who knows? :)]

You stuck-up... [She snatches the shovel--then just uses it to smack a rock in Tyr's direction.]

[ And Tyr jumps aside, ignoring that the rock actually did sorta hurt when it hit his side, and scoops up a heap of earth to fling at Rita. ] Stop fooling around!

[ Nothing says friendship like a shovel to the head! ]

[Rita flings up an arm to cover her face, then whacks another rock.] You're the one that started it, moron, so don't go whining at me!

By telling you to work? That's the only reason we're at this crappy mountain! [ Ugh, stop throwing stones! Tyr moves out of the way again and slaps some dirt up at her again. ]

[ Awww, Rita, Tyr, and Flynn will be the best of best friends. :D ]

Argh! By not watching where you're flinging that stuff, stupid! [No rocks this time, but she finally tosses a shovelful of dirt back at him.]

You shouldn't stand so close if you don't want to get hit! [ But Tyr will take that shovelful of dirt. Not like he isn't covered in dirt already. He turns from her, though, and goes back to shovelling normally. ]

[ Oh gosh, you're right. XD I've wanted to age Tyr back down to his physical age for a while, too. :'3 ]

The same goes for you, you worthless-- [ And it's on. Changing his shovel to the 'beat people up' position, Tyr just blocks Rita's attack and tries to kick at her legs. Sorry, Rita, a shovel is just a short, unbalanced staff right now. ]

[ If they can keep their eyes on them! They'd be a couple of menaces. >:3 ]

Can it, freak! [Of course, she's no staff fighter, so she ends up stumbling from the kicks. She slams the shovel's handle down, towards one of Tyr's feet.]

[Oh man, they would. They'd run around messing up all of Leon's stuff! :D]

Ow! [ Tyr pulls his foot back from under the handle after it connects, gritting his teeth. ...He's used to being hurt, though!! Yeah! Doesn't change that that hurt. Stupid choice to wear slippers, he realises. Tyr brings his shovel up to smack her in the face with it, though! ] Just stay down!

[ Haha, yes. And bugging every member if the house. :'D Another reason for Tyr to never be allowed there again.;; ]

Ugh! [Ohh, that really, really smarts. Screw just beating him up, maybe she'll try to kill him after all.] You bastard--you're dead! [She jumps at him again, this time intending to just throw him off balance.]

["Another" reason, eh~? << And at this rate, they're going to kill each other. Or fall in one of the holes they've been digging. XD;]

[ And Tyr does stumble back more clumsily than he would if Rita hadn't hit his foot, but he braces himself - this land is awfully uneven from the digging, and he does not need a broken ankle. ] Watch what you say, you bitch! You're not the only one here with magic!

[ Aha, yeah.;; By the end of this plot, he'll be in really bad company with Flynn and Yuri. idk if I can spoil how it goes on the other players, though.;;

And man, they really will.;; It would be funny if they do just fall down and get knocked out or something. Either way, they'll be sore the next day. ]

Shut up! All I've heard from you is talk--your whining, your complaining--I'm sick of your stupid attitude! [Nevermind that this is exactly what Tyr could be saying to her. Oh, but she's finding out the ground is rough, too. She almost goes down - and spots the lovely deep hole behind Tyr.] Go take a nap, already! [She throws her weight at him, trying to push him back.]

[Ohhh, THAT! Yes, that's not gonna be a happy memory for anybody. What a fun mess that day'll be. ^^;]

[ At this rate, he isn't going to get anywhere without seriously hurting her, he thinks, and that isn't something he wants, not with how useful she could be. ]

You too--! [ And he forsakes his shovel to take hold of her clothing and drag her down with him. ]

[ Yep, that. :') I'm still looking forward to it. Also, Rita doesn't have to come down, it just flowed better to write like that. ]

H-hey, let--[And down they go, hoping there are no rocks at the bottom.]

[Same here. Gonna be a good time! And actually, this is exactly how I imagined it happening, so this is perfect. XD

Oh, and my internet's kind of crapping out right now, so just in case I suddenly disappear, that's why.]

[ Tyr doesn't say anything but tries to twist them around so he won't breaking her fall, at least. Nope, did that once before and never again.

Thankfully, there aren't any rocks at the bottom, but the ground isn't exactly soft. Tyr grunt hitting the ground, and shoves Rita away. He glares at her and is completely ready to continue kicking her ass if he has to. ]

[ Oh, that's great, then! XD

And it's all good. o/ I hope it doesn't die, but we can pick up again anytime if that happens. ]

[Good thing slugs don't have expectations for gentlemen. Rita also lets out a yelp as they hit the ground--who the hell dug this hole so deep? She smacks Tyr's hands away angrily and sits up, aiming a half-hearted kick at his shins.] You idiot! Look what you got us into!

[At this point, the vuvuzelas are probably completely forgotten. XD

And yeah, I hope it doesn't die either, but oh well. I live for backtagging!]

You're the one who flung herself at me! [ Tyr pulls his legs away and shuffles to the other side of the hole. He actually doesn't want to beat her up; digging is tiring enough without fighting with a brat. ] You have nothing to blame but your own stupidity.

[ They have no idea why they started this other than THE OTHER ONE WOULDN'T DROP IT, right?

I-it's not like I was trying to shove you down here. Who the hell dug this one, anyway? [She crosses her arms and glares up at the opening. What kind of nut would've spent hours digging all the way down there?]

I dunno. Who the hell shoves someone at a dig site and doesn't expect there to be a hole around? [ Just going to lean back and look at her. Sure you didn't mean it, Rita... ]

W-well, why the hell would you be standing right next to a huge hole? You could've fallen over your own feet at any time. [She's so innocent, she swears...]
