I need someone to heal a stab wound. Sooner rather than later.

[ooc: After the AU curse where she tortured her best friends, Rita's back to...well, uncursed. Not so much normal. She intended to filter this away from people who were involved, but was too busy thinking about other things sob.]

[OBLIVIOUS TO WORLD. Pokes machine again.]

[ Aha! There you are! Comes closer and then... pokes you on your shoulder. ]

[asklmg startled! Goes to swing her fist, but--owowow, that's her injured arm she just went to swing.]

Ah--H-huh? Riou?

[Oh yeah, she called him. Sighs and leans against the machine, still on edge.]

Sorry, you weren't answering so-

[ notices that wound. ]

Your arm!

[ grabs it. ]

[Winces, because it still hurts like hell. And she might've shoddily bandaged it, but it hasn't received proper attention since the night before.]

Ow--it's just--Can you heal it?

[ Curiously looks at it -- even with the bandage, it does seem deep. He frowns a little... But eventually beams at Rita. ]

I'm glad it's not that bad.

[ So he says. And then he tries to think. The rune, right... He closes his eyes and focuses on the Bright Shield on his right hand. Soon enough, bright, warm, and healing light begins to shine down on them (and Rita). The emblem of the Bright Shield, briefly shines above them too. ]

[She sighs in relief, glad the pain's gone. Normally, she'd ask Riou about the rune--how it works, how he learned it--but she's too exhausted to care right now.]

Th-thanks...

It's nothing...

[ It should've healed nicely. The Bright Shield's a powerful healing rune :3 ]

So was that... because of yesterday?

[The arm feels almost as good as new. Rita herself, not so much--she avoids his eyes at the mention of yesterday.]

...Y-yeah, it was.

[How much does he know?]

[ That look... that's the same look Jowy would use... -

Riou smiles and gives Rita back her arm. ]

It was a curse, okay? So you shouldn't beat yourself about it.

[She's quick to cross her arms defensively.]

W-who said I was?

[Completely lacking her normal bite, though. Because she totally is beating herself up for this. :| ]

[ grins widely. ]

[ Sorry, Tyr. He didn't mean that literally.... :'D ]

[Sorry Riou, but Tyr is also on her list of people she doesn't really want to think about. T_T]
