[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]

I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-

[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!

[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

[ She's really grouchy over it, and he decides not to protest anymore. ] So about how long?

[Kyaa~ Estelle would like it to be canon-!!]

[She doesn't realize she's not really being fair to him, though she does ease up a little.] However long it takes to flatten it out, mostly. It'll take a couple hours to dry if we just leave it out.

...Then it does take hours. [ Of course he has to be a brat about it, too. Sighing, he waves a hand. ] We should get working in any case.

Sh-shut up! Most of it's just waiting! [At least they're bratty together...Rita points to another small machine and orders-] Sit over here.

[ No matter what anyone else says...//// ]

[ He gives her a look but still does as he's told. ] We should do something in the meantime, then. Just sitting here will be boring...

[Kyaa, she'll always believe it...////]

[What's the look for...Rita tries to ignore it and rummages through a shelf of raw materials, coming up with a container that she hands to Tyr; it's filled with fibrous, plant-like material.] Okay. So what do you wanna do?

[ She just needs to convince them! //// ]

[ So this is what paper's made out of? He looks the contents over as he replies. ] Depends on how much we need to watch these. It'll probably be daylight by the time these are done.

[I-it could be difficult, but she doesn't give up easily!]

We don't need to watch them. [She does watch Tyr, though, as she gives him another order.] Take a couple handfuls of those leaves and put them in the feeder.

[She indicates the top of the machine, which has a small basin which slants downwards to a narrow opening into the machine.]

[ It's a battle of stubbornness!? ]

All right. [ Yeah, he needs orders for this even though he feels like a child because of it. He dumps out a few pieces into his hand and resists the urge to crumple them up before feeding them in. And another handful? He starts another one as he talks to her. ] Let's talk a walk to my place and back, then, so I can change out of these.

[ This makes perfect sense to Tyr despite not being logical earlier. ]

[Yes! Stubbornness versus denial-!]

[It doesn't help that Rita isn't very good at showing him the process without giving simple, blunt orders. She doesn't realize how she might be making him feel. In the meantime, she collects some liquid in a beaker and retrieves another container.

...It still doesn't make much sense to her, though.] Huh? I thought you said you were fine like that.

[ Which one will win!? Is Rita strong enough!? ]

I was, but if we have time to go back, we might as well. [ And it still makes sense to him. He dumps the other bunch into the machine and dusts off his hands. Good enough, he decides. As long as he's sort of learning, he guesses it's fine if she's blunt. ]

[Or will Estelle triumph?!]

It's still pointless. You can just wear something from here. [Rita hands him the beaker of liquid and advises-] It's acid, so be careful. Pour it in the top, too.

[ We'll have to wait and find out...! ]

[ He nods and takes the beaker gently. He's surprised she hasn't burned herself that much... ] I guess... What do you want to do while we wait?

[Next time...!!]

[This one, at least, isn't an especially strong acid, but it would still burn, so she's glad to see he treats it with care.] Huh? Well...

[She hasn't even thought about it.]

[ In the exciting continuation~! ]

[ He definitely will... He pours it in slowly and carefully to be sure it won't splash. ]

[At least if anything happened, Tyr does have his healing rune...]

Of...of course... [While she thinks, her protest turns into a yawn.]

[ Roll credits! ]

[ Not that he wants to use it... When she yawns, Tyr smiles a little. ]

Do you wanna stay in here?

[And then the torture of waiting a whole week...!]

[She'd rather they didn't have to, either. Rita blinks and crosses her arms as if she didn't just display that she's sleepy after all.]

You're staying, aren't you? Anyway, you can start that thing now--just flip the left switch and it'll start smashing them up.

[ He goes ahead and flips it without a care. There they go. And this means he doesn't have to crush it in his hands. ]
