[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]

I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-

[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!

[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

[She glances down too and then drains it, setting the cup down again.]

[ He sets his cup down, too, and stands up to offer his hand to her. ]

[She hesitates a second, scratching her cheek and flushing slightly, and then takes his hand--though not without a little grumble.] Can't we at least get a blanket or something?

Of course. [ He says it brightly, like he just thought of it. ] I'll find some for us. Your room has some, right?

[Really, Tyr...They at least need a blanket or pillows, she thinks!] Oh...Well, yeah, but Estelle might be in there. [They share a bed~]

[ If only Tyr knew... ] She does? Have you said anything to her?

I won't... [ He'll grab a couple of heavy blankets out when they get to it, and then goes to take a few pillows. ] I just didn't know you saw her when you got back.

[ She's really tired... He lowers his voice to be softer. ] Good... I didn't think you'd just leave her in the dark like that.

[ But it's time to get going. With his hands full, he turns to go back to the study. ]

[When her body decides she's been awake long enough, it crashes pretty hard...So she walks with him back to the study, puling a big soft pawprint pillow out from under a table.] There's no way I would...

Anyway, I guess any spot's fine.

Okay... [ All the spots are about the same... So he chooses one that's further away from the equipment and dumps the pillows on the floor so he can lay out one of the blankets. He glances over at her, and then he wonders- ]

Do you want to wrap yourself up, or...?

[ Are they sharing? ]

[Rita drops her pillow down next to Tyr's, yawns again without bothering to hide it--they're going to sleep anyway now--and gestures towards the blankets.] Hand me one of those.

[ He passes one of the other blankets over to her with a smile. Whatever she chose would be fine. ] Here.

[ And slipping off his slippers. ]

Thanks. [And she wastes no time in flopping down on the blanket Tyr laid out, wrapping herself in the other one. She doesn't bother to take off her slippers or headband.] So...night.

[ He stifles a laugh when she does. He didn't realise she was that tired before. Wrapping himself up in the last blanket and plops down beside her. ] Good night.

[ He snuggles down into his pillow and lets his eyes fall half-closed, but he's determined to stay up a little while longer for her. ]

[Rita manages a hum in response as she settles, and she's out like a light in minutes.

...She's not a very quiet sleeper, though, and probably starts mumbling before long.]

[ ...That was fast. If he hadn't realised she fell asleep, he'd think she was trying to talk to him. It's a good thing he wasn't planning to sleep (though laying down is making him want to...). He stays still and quiet, looking down at her blanket just so he doesn't stare at her face. ]

[Maybe if he could sleep through some noise...But she turns on her side facing him, looking pretty content for now, a little smile on her face.

And then she says-] Meow.

[ He almost think he did fall asleep when he hears her. His eyes open wide and he looks back at her face. ]
