Well, that was pointless. What idiot decided to send me home, and then bring me right back after a day?

[Idiot, city, whatever it was that made the decision. In any case, Rita sighs out of annoyance--primarily due to the disorientation from returning and regaining her memories--and then continues with a simple-]

So I'm back, anyway.

[ooc: Hiatus over! As mentioned by Rita, only one day went by for her while she was gone from the City for the month.]

[Rita doesn't mind the question too much. She's always a bit impatient, but it's not too personal...and she'd be interested, too.]

Easy? Hmm...It's not really hard. It just feels kind of weird to suddenly remember everything again.

[A small frown, though it can't be seen.]

You forget everything about this place when you go home?

Yeah. That's what I'd heard, but it looks like I've confirmed it for myself.

But it makes sense. I mean, when people are coming from different points in time, they'd have to forget when they returned.

[She makes a sound of ackowledgement--and maybe a bit of surprise--at the name. Rita's not one for saying "nice to meet you" or anything like that, but the way it's pronounced is the same as that of one of her other friends.]

So how long have you been here, Tear?

[Tear nods as well.]

Not long. It's still some adjustment to the City. You?

Adjustment's putting it pretty mildly...

I haven't really been keeping track. It's been about a couple years, I guess.

..it must have been hard to go back for just a day then.

[A bit of a sigh on her end.] It wasn't hard while I was there. When I came back...well, not much happened in a day, but it's been longer here. That's the weird part.

This place does very strange things with time. [She shakes her head.]
