Well, that was pointless. What idiot decided to send me home, and then bring me right back after a day?

[Idiot, city, whatever it was that made the decision. In any case, Rita sighs out of annoyance--primarily due to the disorientation from returning and regaining her memories--and then continues with a simple-]

So I'm back, anyway.

[ooc: Hiatus over! As mentioned by Rita, only one day went by for her while she was gone from the City for the month.]

[ That voice, that attitude- It might have just been a month, but he hadn't expected to hear them again. Not so soon, anyway, and not without questioning where she was and forgetting everything about the City.

But it was only a day for her? That felt unfair in different ways Tyr couldn't really explain; it just wasn't right. He stood staring at his device for a while before he typed up a quick message. Speaking was beyond him right now after that month that seemed to hit rock bottom today. ]

Are you at home now?

[ He was optimistic enough to not believe that seeing her again was just a curse. ...Besides, he wouldn't imagine her like that anyway if it were. ]

[She blinks at getting the text message, her newly-regained memories stirring up feelings and reminding her that she and Tyr usually don't talk via text...

And how long has it been in the City? Anything could've happened while she was gone; maybe Tyr or someone else was cursed...Her response is just to the point, though.]

I'm in the City. Near the square.

A day...? Rita?

Does it really feel like it has only been that long?

What do you mean, "feel like"? I know it's only been that long! For me, anyway.

How much time passed here?

[If he knows...Rita wonders if he's still missing his memories, too.]

[Estelle has to replay the message just to make sure that was Rita’s voice she heard. While she feels bad that her friend returned to the City, her presence is also an overwhelming comfort. Just hearing her voice is a comfort! And she remembers the City, which is even better!]

Rita, are you really back? Where are you?

[Well, that is a bit upsetting. Rita was gone so long but she was only able to enjoy a single day on her world? The City should have allowed her more time there… ]

It has been a month since you left. We were really beginning to think you were not going to return at all.

[He remembers every adorable thing you have ever done Rita. :P ]

[Hearing Estelle, Rita herself is caught between relief and worry--mostly worry, though.]

I'm here, Estelle. I'm near the square.

[That's also one of Rita's many complaints...Though she'd have a lot more to complain about if Eagle ever called her adorable!]

A month? ...I know the City likes to mess with time that way, but...this is still weird.

[She does need to ask him, though-] Has anything changed since I was here last time?

[Oh, she really is here! She wants to run out and go find her, however she remembers the one time she accidentally lead Rita on when Tyr had come to pick her up… so she believes it wise to ask:]

Is someone coming to meet you, or are you going to come to the house?

They brought you back after a day?! [ Sorry for this strangers sudden burst. This is some news for him to hear. ] Do you have any idea how it happened? Do you remember anything?

[ Oh... This is rude. ] My name's Aang by the way. I haven't been her for long, and I'm sorry for bombarding you with questions, ma'am.

There have been several changes really. Mostly just silly curses that needn’t be mentioned, but I believe Katara might have left the City. I have not seen her around lately. I’m sure Tyr must have noticed, but I haven‘t had the chance to speak to him about it.

[Whats this? A bit of clandestine shipping? This is important information for you to know Rita!

Oh, and my memory returned! He… some how forgets to mention this. Too busy thinking about others instead of himself. ]

[ It's been too long in the City. He feels a little choked up now, and if he was speaking, he would have switched to text now. He's caught somewhere between disbelief and happiness. If he could forget losing Katara and the mess of November, he'd be overjoyed right now.

There's a little tug on his chest when she writes back. He wants to hear her speak again, but for now- ]

O.K.

Wait there for me. I'll walk you back.

[ It's a small accomplishment he doesn't make any typos in that; he doesn't wait for any further response before he's walking out to find her. ]

[Rita doesn't quite recall that detail right now, but regardless...it's probably easier if she goes to Estelle--she wants to check out the house, anyway.]

If you're at the house, just wait for me. I'll come meet you.

[And while she's on her way-] So did anything happen while I was gone? I heard it's been a whole month...

[It's no problem--Rita is rude most of the time. ._. For now, she dismisses the vague idea that she's seen this guy somewhere before and goes ahead to answer his questions, after a very short introduction.]

Rita.

You haven't been here long, have you? They send people home at random, and sometimes they bring them back. I'm pretty sure I remember everything that happened now.

[Oh, Eagle. Rita can't tell yet whether or not his memory is back, but that is important news--even if she's completely oblivious to any shipping! Katara was her friend too, after all...Not to mention, she really is worried about Tyr...]

Wait, she did? Are you certain?

[She raises a skeptical eyebrow over his message--she can walk on her own--but it's Tyr, and she's still worried, so she dismisses it and replies with a simple all right. After that, she just stays where she is to wait for him while checking current things on the network.]

Okay, I will stay here! [And she promises that. She has no intentions on leaving right now, nor any errands to run.]

What you had heard is correct – a month has passed. There were… a few things that had occurred… [Her voice forces itself to remain strong for Rita. It was more than a hard month for her, but she doesn’t want her friend to know that. In a way, she did want to say that 'nothing had occurred', however that would have been a lie.]

[Mm, Eagle liked Katara too, even if they really didn’t have too many chances to speak. She was a very sweet girl.]

I haven’t checked the Hall of the Missing to make certain, but I can’t imagine not having seen her around if she was still here.

[Rita knows Estelle's strong, tries to be strong no matter what, but now she's just more concerned. Of course something would've happened while she was gone...She picks up her pace.]

Wait--what "few things"?

[ In hindsight, he should have asked her where exactly she was first, but even though he's a little frantic, he wasn't frantic enough to look over her as he scanned the area (or forget to bundle up before going out for that matter).

She's really standing there. He has to stare for a few seconds just to make sure it wasn't someone else. Part of him still couldn't believe she could really be there again. They weren't alone, and if Tyr cared about his image that much anymore, he wouldn't have started running after her. ]

Rita!

[ He cared enough to hide the emotion from his voice, though, even though he couldn't really hide that his eyes were rimmed with red. All the feelings were bubbling up now, though—this was too much too soon—and he didn't think he'd be able to hide how he felt much longer. ]

[Eventually, Rita thought so too; she was won over by Katara's friendship. She can't really argue with Eagle's logic, though.]

No..I used to see her around all the time.

...So you haven't talked to Tyr yet?

W-well…

[There’s a deep breath from her end, and a bit of an awkward silence before she speaks up… It wasn’t as if it was terribly bad, just perhaps that maybe it was harder on her than it should have been. Rita’s absence only had made it worse…]

Yuri lost his memories of the City. He… doesn’t seem to remember Flynn, either.

[She's dressed in her regular outfit from home, now, which isn't exactly winter gear, but she stays still as promised.

While Tyr's on his way, Rita finds out two critical things: it's been an entire month, and Katara's left. Nevertheless, when she looks over to Tyr and sees the expression on his face, she stands in wide-eyed shock for a second. He looks terrible, or upset, or...]

Tyr--hey! [She takes a few steps forward, worry and alarm written on her face.]

What? How?! [That's not the kind of thing she was expecting.] Did he--no, he shouldn't forget Flynn if he went home.

[What else could it be, then? A curse, some kind of City event, or deity trade...As soon as she thinks that, her voice takes on a slight edge--not too harsh, because this is Estelle, but she has a suspicion.] Wait a minute...He didn't do it himself, did he?
