[ In hindsight, he should have asked her where exactly she was first, but even though he's a little frantic, he wasn't frantic enough to look over her as he scanned the area (or forget to bundle up before going out for that matter).

She's really standing there. He has to stare for a few seconds just to make sure it wasn't someone else. Part of him still couldn't believe she could really be there again. They weren't alone, and if Tyr cared about his image that much anymore, he wouldn't have started running after her. ]

Rita!

[ He cared enough to hide the emotion from his voice, though, even though he couldn't really hide that his eyes were rimmed with red. All the feelings were bubbling up now, though—this was too much too soon—and he didn't think he'd be able to hide how he felt much longer. ]

[She's dressed in her regular outfit from home, now, which isn't exactly winter gear, but she stays still as promised.

While Tyr's on his way, Rita finds out two critical things: it's been an entire month, and Katara's left. Nevertheless, when she looks over to Tyr and sees the expression on his face, she stands in wide-eyed shock for a second. He looks terrible, or upset, or...]

Tyr--hey! [She takes a few steps forward, worry and alarm written on her face.]

[ If he knew she was wearing that, he would have brought her something to wrap herself in. The way she looks now makes him worried, though, and he can't help but look unbearably sad when he catches that expression on her face. A few different thoughts run through his head - all the things that could have happened in that day she was home and all the things that could have happened since she returned - and he can't stand not knowing what's wrong with her.

Maybe he's overpowered by how happy he is to see her again, or maybe his concern makes him want to comfort her that much - he doesn't know - but he has to stumble to a stop to avoid crashing into her. He just hugs her clumsily but without any shame or embarrassment. His arms wrap around her tightly, and he rests his head against hers (maybe to hide it; it's not like he doesn't know he looks awful).

He should say something with this though, shouldn't he? But he doesn't have any words, and even though it wasn't a long run, he's heart's pounding against his chest. ]

[There wasn't much helping the outfit--it was what she'd been wearing in her world again, and it seemed the City decided to bring her back as she was. She's not really thinking about the cold with how concerned she is about Tyr, though.

But wait, he's running awfully fast--and that's about as far as her thought process gets before he's hugging her, and she squeaks in surprise.]

Huh? What...

[Stunned, she trails off and moves her hands up hug him back a bit awkwardly. She can't believe the state he's in.] Hey...Are you okay?

[ He probably shouldn't do this. But it's so nice holding her again (he wishes he could have hugged Katara before she left...), and he doesn't want to let her go yet though he figures she's only sort of hugging him back because he's hugging her. This has to make no sense to her, so she deserves some explanation even if it's muffled against her shoulder. ]

...Yeah. I just missed you...

[In a way, she is just reciprocating (or maybe that's just what she's telling herself), but she's hugging him back because he's Tyr. And...he seems like he could really use it. Her arms move around to hug him more firmly, though she's still surprised.]

I...I heard it's been a month, but...

[ So he shouldn't be acting like this. She's right. He should...have done something else.

But he doesn't really care about what he should do now. He falls quiet and grips onto the back of her dress. ]

I know.

[ He just can't believe she's back... ]

It feels like longer, though. [ He releases her dress and smooths out the spot. His voice evens out with it. ] You know how the City is.

[She doesn't mind that he's doing this...It really makes her heart feel tight with emotion, though, because she's worried about his state, and surprised by just how much he missed her.]

Huh? Oh...You mean you weren't sure if I'd come back. [Of course, she should've thought of that. Her voice grows a little gentler as she continues.] Well, I--I'm back, so don't worry.

[ He buries his face in her shoulder again when she just says that. That's exactly what is was. She was almost dead to him. But she's right; she's back now and he doesn't have to worry.

He still needs to take a deep breath to keep his emotions down, though. His voice is strained, though. ]

Yeah... That's right.

[ He lifts his head up, about to say they should go back to her place, but he doesn't want to let go just yet. ] I'm glad to have you back.

[She doesn't let go either, letting her hands start to trace lightly over his back, even though she blushes a bit at his comment. It does make her happy...]

...Thanks.

...Are you sure you're all right?

[ He nods. ]

This month's just been long... [ He clings to her and begins to run his hands over her back, smiling again. ] I'll explain later.

[She shifts her head just a little to try and look at him, but doesn't let go.] You can tell me now. What happened?

[ Even though he's a little misty-eyed, he turns his head to look at her again. They're close enough for their foreheads to touch, but that's fine with him right now. ] A lot...

After you left, Yuri made a stupid trade, and he's still not himself... It was really hard for Flynn and Estellise...

[ Sighing, he continues a little more. He'll glaze over how he was teased about his relationship with her and that made him miss her more. More importantly, Katara... His eyes slip down to look to the lower half of her face. ]

And today, Katara...disappeared.

[ That's all he can say about that. ]

[She can't hide the surprise on her face as she sees it, and then she holds him a bit more tightly.]

...That idiot is gonna get some payback for that. [In regards to Yuri. As for the other part...]

And...I'm sorry.

[ There's no doubt in his mind what she means by that hug this time. It tugs at something inside of him, and it takes a lot to hold back his feelings. It feels wrong for him to bring this all on her when she just came back, but he figures she would want to hear it sooner rather than later. ]

Maybe she'll come back later, though. [ He tries to be hopeful. If Rita could come back like this, he has a reason to be hopeful. ] So there's no reason to get too sad about it...

[ ...Even though he is. He has mixed feelings. ]

[She demanded to know in the first place; what happened while she was gone is important for her to find out. Now that she knows (part of it, at least), she can try to dismiss the weirdness of missing a whole month.]

It's possible...But we don't know that. [She doesn't want to get his hopes up for something that might not happen, though she doesn't really want to depress him any further, either.] So don't worry about it, all right?

[ He nods, taking a deep breath. He knows that it's not that likely - no-one else has returned just like Rita has - but anything can happen. ]

I won't... [ He'd rather focus on the positive of having Rita back anyway and smiles more widely. ] So do you okay? You didn't look okay before...

[Rita will miss Katara too, so...She'll just think of it as a possibility. She's glad to see Tyr smile again, anyway.]

Huh? I'm the one who should be asking you. I'm fine. [A little cold, but she doesn't realize just how her expression must've looked to Tyr earlier.]

[ Now he wonders just how bad he must have looked (though, he guesses, when it comes to missing her and Rita, it's not hard to think he'd be upset...) ]

I am, too. Nothing dangerous really happened while you were gone, and you're back now, so...it's not too bad.

[ But before this gets to sappy- ] Are you sure you're not cold like this? [ He moves his hands to her shoulders. ] It's the middle of winter, you know.

[Rita would say that, without a doubt, he looked terrible. The sappiness does start to fluster her, and she blushes while waving her hand a little.]

I-it's not that bad...I mean, it's a little cold, but...you know...[Tyr's pretty warm.]

[ He puts his hands back around her a little. For now, he doesn't want to embarrass her, so he holds off on being sappy (though he still has sappy feelings...). ]

I'm blocking the wind? [ But that says nothing about teasing her. ]

[She's even more embarrassed at the realization that she almost feels sappy, too! (And it's all Tyr's fault, huff.)]

Yeah. You're like a blanket or something. [Not that she minds having a blanket draped on her.]

[ He'd feel a little giddy that the feeling is mutual whether it's his fault or not.

No matter how bad she feels for him, he doesn't think she'd let him do this if she didn't like it. He wraps his arms around her gently to keep her warm. ]

I'll have to keep you warm in that case...

[Sappy and giddy...

Now her face flushes even more, though embarrassed as she is, she doesn't want to push him away.]

Wha--w-why don't we just go inside or something...

[ So sappy and giddy. But now. ]

...I was going to get you something from my place, but seemed content like this...

[ Her own fault... He lets go of her, though. Really, he likes teasing her, but he doesn't have the energy to do that now. ]
