[ Tyr isn't sure if they're on the same page either. ] Is that what you were wondering?

[Actually, Rita's not entirely sure about that, either.] I guess--Yeah, that's all.

Okay... [ Tyr returns to silence. This isn't a subject he wants to push himself. ]

[Which is probably for the best. And Rita, in an effort to try and distract herself, thinks instead to Tyr's reply about nobody being more devoted.]

...It's just...kind of nice to have someone like that.

[ He's a little surprised by her words. He looks over to her again (and is possibly trying to fall into step beside her), and there's a faint hint of happiness in his voice as he asks: ]

You have somebody like that, too?

[She hugs the cat she's carrying closer and stares straight ahead awkwardly in order to avoid his eyes. Does she? Not like that, no way.]

Well, I--I don't know about that. I was just saying...

[ Somehow, the fact she's so obviously awkward makes him feel a bit better. ~~It's a little cute.~~ He turns forward again for her sake, though. ]

Well... even if you have friends that will look out for you, that's nice enough...

[~~He got his dere back!~~ She definitely can't argue with that, since she's more sure about it.]
