[ Tyr definitely doesn't mind seeing her face again. He smiles a little at her - he's actually hanging out at the beach now if the background is any indication, but his fishing gear isn't visible.

At the moment, the blastia works on his faith that it does; there's no way of actually knowing if it does without someone actually dying... ] I don't have any doubts about it...

[She's surprised to see he's at the beach--maybe he's not far.

Relieved to see him and hear his response, she manages a bit more of a smile in return.] ...Thanks.

Hey...Are you near the house?

... Relatively. [ He's not that close, but he's neither on the other side of the island or in the city proper. She might be able to hear his line being reeled in as he speaks. ] I'll come closer and we can meet halfway.

[She hears the reel--figures that's what he'd be doing out there--but more importantly, they're going to meet up. "Relatively" close normally wouldn't be specific enough for her, but she doesn't really care this time.] Yeah. Okay. I'll be there soon.

[And she gets up from where she's sitting--predictably, in a pile of books and papers.]

[ Just where he thought she would be even if he wasn't too focused on the sound of her writing earlier. He's happy that they'll see each other again - maybe because she usually cheers him up - and he fumbles around to get everything together to see her. ]

I'm on the western side of the house when you get out, so look out for me. [ Since, really, how could she tell one piece of beach from another? ]

[And since she definitely can't tell a few patches of sand apart from each other, she nods at the directions.] Thanks. Don't be late, okay? [As if there's a set time.

And she stuffs some of her working materials haphazardly into a bag before she starts moving for the door.]

I'll be there when you are.

[ He understands what she means anyway. If she's watching him, she can see he's already packed up and carrying his rod over his shoulder like a staff.

And maybe he's walking quickly just because she seems to be moving fast. It's only about a block's worth of distance between him and the house anyway. ]

It's not a meeting if both of us aren't there.

[Her mind's not really on bantering, though, just thinking about heading out and across the sand to get there. She's not exactly running, but she's definitely not taking her time.]

You're right... It wouldn't be much of a meeting.

[ It's almost like they're not really just worried about the approaching month and everything that comes with it when they're rushing to see each other like this. He's not carrying much - just his fishing rod and a bucket with a small tackle box inside - so it's not hard for him to walk as quickly as he can even before he sees her.

He waves out to her, not bothering to call out. There's no-one else on the beach now but them. ]

[Rita's still worried, so that's why she's so eager to meet up...right? So they can see each other properly and make sure everything's okay for now, even if nothing was wrong on the video...

When she spots him across the sand, she dashes over, coming to a stop when they're a few feet apart.] Hey.

[Rita offers a smile, no injury or tiredness present now. It's better than their last meeting on the weekend.]

[ He's glad not to see any sign of injury on her; he was a little worried there would be a horrible scar across her (or maybe he just can't see it), but since she appears well overall... It's easy to return the smile back at her. ]

Hey... [ He looks her over anyway when they stop anyway even though they should both look fine. ] You didn't take long.

Same goes for you. [Having Tyr right there with a healing spell right away certainly helped--not to mention having Estelle at home. She had to rest for a day or so, but she's back to normal now.

She does notice Tyr looking her over, though, so she reassures him.] You don't have to worry. I'm fine, okay? [Even if maybe she also glanced over Tyr, just because.]

[ And Tyr wasn't even really hurt - not anywhere as badly as Rita was - so he looked perfectly normal. His smile faltered for a moment when she reassured him, but this time, he knew she was. ]

I know... But... It was so bad before.

[It's good to see him physically all right, though she's still a bit concerned about how he was cursed on the weekend.]

But it's fine now. [Thanks almost entirely to Tyr. She smiles again, but then her expression turns a bit more serious.] Getting that rune was a good idea. With next month and all...

[ Being reminded of next month again, he turns sombre. He knows she's okay now because he healed her, and if he hadn't had the rune...it's still hard to say exactly what would have happened. ]

You need one, too. Even if you don't really use healing magic...

[She's sort of thinking the same thing--trying not to, but it's hard to forget--and she can't argue with him about that. It's the only kind of preparation they can really make...]

Yeah...I know. In case... [If something happens to Tyr again, or Estelle, or anyone.]

I was thinking I might attach that wind rune, actually. Or work out some similar spells for my blastia.

[ He nods, glad that she's thinking about this. He's tempted to tell her to attach the earth rune, too, because of how quickly her shield broke, but holds the suggestion for now. ]

You should try both. You'll probably understand the spells better after you attach it, and then you can work on your blastia... [ As far as he's concerned, the weekend proved they don't have the time to spare. ]

[She hasn't really been thinking about the earth rune, really. The wind rune has two things she'd like. Tyr's suggestion doesn't sound bad, either.]

That's not a bad idea. I've been studying the runes, but I haven't tried the spells for myself yet. And on the weekend...

I was thinking that I need a spell to stop someone without hurting them. [Since all of her spells are offensive--this is becoming a bit of a worry to her, along with being unable to heal.]

Mm... [ Given how often friends end up going insane and needing to be stopped, he agrees that a spell like that would be a necessity. ] Maybe you could find one like you used on Eagle, but that has a longer duration... When you put people to sleep with the wind rune, they're only in a light sleep...

It could become stronger if you practice it, though.

[They didn't have much choice against Eagle, but Rita doesn't know how she would've stopped Euphie if they'd been able to get to her in time.]

Of course I could improve it. [Rita has no doubt about that, even if she's still working it out.] But just how light? Like, they wouldn't wake up if you tried to tie them up or something like that, right?

[ Tyr isn't sure what they'd do for Euphie, either; he wouldn't want to hurt someone who's clearly not a match for either of them. ]

I don't know. I've never tried to do that before... But they wake up if they're hit. [ Which should make sense... But magic sleep would be great if they were unconscious. ] You could run some tests on that to see, too.

[And even Eagle she was sort of reluctant to use her more powerful spells against, but Euphie...]

[If they're hit doesn't sound bad, as long as they don't wake up by hitting the ground, but--wait. Rita raises a skeptic eyebrow to Tyr.] ...You want me to test if I can wake someone up by hitting them?

[ Rita is a better person than Tyr... ]

No. [ That couldn't have been a serious question. ] You should test how heavily the spell makes them sleep by...trying to move them or tie them. That's what you'll want to do after they're asleep, right?

[Or Tyr's tougher than she is...]

[It was totally serious. And Rita would do it to some people. Still, as good of a stress relief that could be, this is more logical...maybe.] Well, yeah...I wouldn't want them to wake up while I'm doing that, but it'd be better if it was stronger, or just longer-lasting. You know, until the end of the curse.

[ A little of both, maybe... ]

Yeah... That would be the best result, if you could manage just that... [ And she's the only one other than Luc that he could imagine being able to. ] If you're going to get that good, though, you'll need to attach it soon and get used to it first.
