[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]

I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-

[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!

[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

[It makes her tense for a split second--out of embarrassment more than anything else--and then she turns to face him again.]

[ Good enough for him. ] So you really want to find matching pajamas?

Huh? [She didn't expect him to bring it up again...!] I--I already have pajamas, so...It's not like I need new ones.

Nevermind. I'll just sleep in these and get new clothes in the morning...

[Rita blinks and tilts her head curiously. What was he about to say?]

But aren't those ones full of sand?

[ Something along the lines of Rita having something over-sized for him...but then he remembered they're Rita's. And that's why he won't tell her even if he knew what she was wondering about. ]

They're fine. I'll just shake them out a little later.

[And Rita never has real pants She shrugs, then heads for the door.]

If you say so...I'm gonna get out of these, though.

[ He doesn't know that for a fact yet... ._. He almost follows after her, but when she says that...okay, he'll sit back on his pile of books. ]

All right. I'll wait here for you.

[nakjsd somehow he should find out... Tyr's not a pervert or anything, after all-! Rita would've been quick to shoo him away if he did try to follow; as it is, she just nods, waves, and exits the study to go get something more comfortable.

It doesn't take her much longer than a few minutes, and she comes back wearing a long nightshirt and thigh-high stockings...which are all cat-themed, anyway.]

[ Time to rummage through Rita's drawers! When she comes back, his eyes widen a little. That cat theme... She has plenty of clothing like that, but seeing her come in with it after talking about matching pajamas is weird. ]

[Again, even-! She and Estelle also just happen to have matching cat-themed chemises, but...it's a little too cold for that. These ones are warmer, even if it the cat-ear headband she also put on doesn't really have anything to do with warmth...

Casually, she stretches her arms as she heads back for the chair.]

Mmm...This is more like it.

[ This time he can look for things that aren't underwear! She really likes that stuff... he thinks as he looks her over for a second. He's not sure why she put on a headband when it looks like she's ready to lay down and sleep otherwise. ]

[Although he might not be able to help but notice that she doesn't have any bras~ ...She really, really does...It might be the one thing she'd readily admit to herself that she finds cute. Not that she'll just come right out and say it. (And she's probably not wearing shorts...More comfortable that way.)

She flops down in the chair with a notebook, ready to start work on the blastia.]

[ And that realisation will come with a lot of blushing. He shouldn't be noticing that!! The way she wears cat things all the times makes him think she must see them as cute. ...And by association, wants to be seen as cute? Not that Tyr thinks she needs help with that would actually do that.

He sighs a little when she points that out, but he's a big kid. He can deal with a little sand. In any case, he's more curious about what she's writing and tilts forward to see. ]

[Hehehe, just like he shouldn't notice that even her underwear tends to be cat-themed~? It juuuust might be true that she doesn't mind being seen as cute by her friends. Not that she'd actively be trying to appear that way!! Except maybe a little with Tyr...

And the sand is forgotten quickly enough anyway, as Rita scribbles down messy equations with a hint of a smile. Working on a formula is nice after everything that happened that day.]

I'm writing down the parameters and formula I want for the blastia core. The core will have to be made from scratch--I can't just use any core with any formula. Its properties have to be suited for the task.

She loves it for sure, and Tyr is someone she doesn't mind having around while she works. It's easier to take their minds off of the rest of the day.]

Of course blastia cores are interesting. I always wanted to know how the ancients who created blastia did it... [And then she trails off and frowns, because when they actually did find out, it was pretty horrific, actually. But then she shakes her head and continues.] Anyway, ever since we stopped using aer, I worked on coming up with my own method to synthesize cores.
