[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!

[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

[She nods, not seeing any reason to put it off, and then starts looking at her list of materials. One machine, a contraption of wires, pipes, and antennae-like protrusions all stuck to a two-foot-high metal container, has been operating the entire time with a steady hum, and Rita points to it.]

We'll need concentrated mana, and this is where I collect and store it. It takes a while to gather, so I keep this thing running all the time.

Nope. I designed it to operate at a specific capacity, so it doesn't collect when it's full.
