[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

Good. I mean, it's not a big deal or anything...[But she smiles at him anyway and tugs her boots off at the door, brushing sand away from her clothes.]

[ He'll stay for as long as she wants him to. And thinking of that makes him realise how close they are - not that it's a big realisation, but it's one that makes him smile back at her. ]
It's not for me, either. [ And he'll shake off his cloak a little more - oh, he'll have to sleep in these clothes, won't he? - before hanging it up. ] I like staying here anyway.

[And Rita knows well enough that she likes--looks forward to--hanging out with Tyr. So she's sort of teasing when she answers-] You'd better not dislike it.
Come on. [She doesn't bother shaking out her clothes much more than that; the sand's going to be everywhere, anyway, she figures. So now it's off to the study, as she takes off her coat and carries it over one arm.]

Would you come back to my place if I did? [ He follows behind her, slipping off his shoes as he does. There's a small shoot of pain from the one that book fell on, but after resting it, it's not too painful anymore. ]

No way. You'd just have to stay here. [Huff! She would go back to his place anytime, though. Without noticing any pain he feels, she continues through the quiet, dark house to the open door of the study. Some of the floorboards creak, but...It's not like there's anything to be afraid of now.]

[ Hearing it creak does make him tense, but he relaxes himself. They're home now, so it's safe... He turns on a light nd continues inside. There's nothing off about it, at least... ]

[She glances back at him--not for reassurance that he's fine or anything, of course-! And then she leads the way into the cluttered room.] Instead of just coming over for those slumber parties?
action; ♥!
We don't have "slumber parties".
[ And his face turns red when she says that, looking over at her again. It's not hard to navigate the room without looking even with all the books and paper on the ground. ]
action; ♥!
[His expression makes her grin while she sets her coat down on a chair.] Weren't you the one who suggested it in the first place?

[ He sort of mumbles a response- ] It was a joke... Call it a visit.

It thought it wasn't a bad party. [>:3]

[ He sits down on a stack of books, resting his arms on his knees. She's not helping his face get less red. ] ...Then it was a visit and a party. That's all.

[While she stands there watching him. Sure, there's a couple things she could be doing, but this is more fun.] So what do you call the part where we slept?

Sleeping. [ Since she's standing there looking at him, he looks up at her. He knows she's having too much fun with this... ]

[A hint of annoyance crosses her face before she's back to smirking.]
Hmph. So you came over, partied, and slept. A slumber party, in other words.

[ A corner of his lips perks up a little, but unlike her, he goes back to having a straight face. ]
"Slumber party" sounds worse, though... Like we put on matching pajamas afterwards or something. [ And talked about the people they thought were cute... Totally not something Tyr and Ted ever did, nope. ]
action; ♥!
[Now that does make her blush as she imagines them in matching pajamas, and then sputters at him.] Wha--where'd you come up with an idea like that?!

[ And when she does that, he can definitely grin. ] That's what people usually do at slumber parties—Do you wanna try it?

Huh? D-don't be stupid--it's not like there's any matching ones here! [WHICH ISN'T EXACTLY A REFUSAL...]

[ He doesn't even notice... He's focused on teasing her. ] We can buy a couple... Maybe ones with cats on them-- with matching ears.

[ ...But that's part of the fun, too! He shakes his head. ] Nah, we should do it now. It won't be busy in the city.
