[Rita just sighs, believing that he's only fooling himself.] What makes you so sure of that?

[Okay, that's...not the kind of response she was expecting. She blinks, a little taken aback and not quite sure how to respond.] ...Uh...Oh. If...you say so. [That reply wasn't awkward at all...]

[ He wasn't really expecting a real response for that. To continue the awkwardness, he just falls silent. At least she can't argue that point?? ]

[...Or. Well. She could, but whether or not she will...The silence is awkward enough after that conversation and today hasn't exactly been their friendliest--But she's curious.]

[ Tyr liked the fact she couldn't argue against it. Even though the past few days haven't been that great to Tyr, he still answers her flatly. She doesn't need to know details, though. ]

[ Tyr doesn't get it... He blinks, still looking at her as he slows his pace. ] Is what?

Huh? [Oh, did she say that out loud? Uh--She hastily tries to explain.] I-I mean, what you said about your reason--Do you think it's like that for everyone?

[ He's not really following, flustered or not. ] ... No, I don't think the way he's devoted to me is something everybody has...
