[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]
[ooc: Tags slow forever. ._. Sorry!]

[ That gets a little laugh out of him, but it's not a cruel one. ] Ah, you're right. That puts it above most torches...

Because after you make them... [ He trails off, then shakes his head. ] Actually, I'd rather we kept them to ourselves.

[Even though she agrees, his trailing off just makes her curious! It's like he left her hanging...] What? What did you want me to do with them?

Nothing. They're blastia, so you wouldn't want to give them to everyone, would you? [ Even though they seem to have blastia for everything in her world... ]
action; ♥!
Well...No...I can't just give them out to anyone. [And she hated it when they were mistreated in her world...There were times she thought it would just be better if nobody else but her could touch them.]
action; ♥!
Then let's just keep the best blastia between us. [ He smiles a little to try to make the situation lighter again. He didn't mean for it to turn out like this... And he's not even thinking about how she was when she was younger. ]
action; ♥!
[She's not really all that bothered...That time in her world has come to an end in any case. So she fidgets with her free hand in the sand, face slightly flushed, and nods.] That's all I really wanted to do.
action; ♥!
[ He wonders what's on her mind, but in the end, he's just glad that he's with her and they can share something together. He gives her hand a little squeeze. ] Then that's all we'll do...
action; ♥!
[She smiles a little, looking down at her free hand.] Yeah. So you wanna go back to my place, or...stay here? [Rita realizes she doesn't mind which one he chooses...Either way, they get to hang out together.]
action; ♥!
[ That question feels somewhat important, even though he knows that if they go back, he'll still be with her. Part of him wants to just stay out with her, though, alone on the beach.
But they should go back, and despite the curse and nightmares, he's clear-headed enough to know that should comes before want. When he responds, though, it doesn't sound like he's exactly "settling for the right choice". Going back with her is nice, too. ] Let's go back to your place. I'm about ready to get out of the sand.

[She looks at him and nods, figuring he'd choose what he wanted and she'd be happy to go with either choice.] Okay. This stuff just gets everywhere, I swear.

Yeah... [ There's a bit of a laugh in his voice; he can imagine what a pain his cloak will be to get clean when he gets back home. Now that it's decided, he pushes himself up with his free hand. ] We'd be covered in it if we actually slept out here.

[While she laughs and follows suit, she then gives him a smirk.] I'd say you're already pretty covered in it.

[ Which makes him look down and give his cloak a quick shake. Given the fact he would have stayed laying in the ground if Rita didn't get up, he probably is... But that's not the point. ] I probably got it off of you...

[She watches and grins while he does.] You did make a pretty good blanket from the wind. [And the sand it would've kicked up.]
action; ♥!
Thankfully, you did a good job brushing the sand off me, too.
