[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]
[ooc: Tags slow forever. ._. Sorry!]

[ His eyes look over at her when she says that. He feels a little guilty for being glad that she doesn't want to go. ]
It's not always bad here, so... [ That's not really the point, though - they should want to go back because they should. His voice picks up again after trailing off. ] I don't want you to go, either.

[Although she feels kind of ridiculous about it--of course she should be choosing home, but--she actually feels a little better for having admitted it to Tyr, too. Maybe because Tyr's
almost entirely the reasonone of the very reasons she wants to stay.]I--I know. And same goes for you. [Don't disappear, Tyr...]

[ She's one of his best friends. Even if there were other reasons for her wanting to stay, having her stay means they can be together, and that makes him happy. Even if he's accepted leaving as an eventuality and is trying to prepare for it...there's no way to replace her if she leaves. ]
I don't ever want to. [ He holds her hand more tightly. ] If I do... [ He trails off, not sure if he wants to finish that. ]

[There's no replacement for Tyr, either. But they don't have any control over it, and there's no way of knowing...So she holds Tyr's hand firmly, and looks over at him.]
We're here right now, so let's forget about that.

[ He looks at her too as they walk. Dying to stay is out of the question, too, and they should just forget about the future for now. ]
Right... We're almost to your place, anyway.

[If he ever tried something like that, she'd be furious. Even if it's not dying for good...It's still a stupid decision to her, and it's bad enough Tyr already gave up his life for a period...
For now, though, she turns her attention to the steps as they approach the door.] You can stay here as long as you want, so...

[ The fact she was so angry is the reason he'll never give it up again. Even if it didn't feel like death to him...
When she says that, he smiles a little. This time, he really doesn't want to go home so soon. ]
...I'll stay long enough to tell Flynn I'm taking his coat, then.

[She can understand--sort of--the reason behind it, at least, even if she's angry he did it on his own. She'd be more relieved if he doesn't give it up again, though.]
Huh? That's all? [Does Flynn get up early? Probably, though she doesn't really pay attention...]

[ He won't do it again without telling her, at least, even if he knows she'll make him change his mind. But he likes that about her, too.
She doesn't totally get what he meant, but he can't blame her. ] Or for a while longer.
action; ♥! And time to sleep...! Good night~
[The fact he won't keep it secret is what really matters to her--even if they'd end up arguing over it.
She looks at him a moment, blinks, then moves forward to let them inside the house.] Do you have to be somewhere?
action; ♥! Sleep well~!
[ They might, but Tyr hopes he won't even consider it any time soon. When she asks like that, he wonders if she wants him to stay for a while. ]
No... Not for a while. I can stay most of tomorrow, too.
[ And really, he wouldn't mind it... When they enter the house, it's quiet. Even the cats don't come to greet them. ]

[Rita would prefer that, too. And just maybe...she'd also prefer him to stay a while.]
Good. I mean, it's not a big deal or anything...[But she smiles at him anyway and tugs her boots off at the door, brushing sand away from her clothes.]

[ He'll stay for as long as she wants him to. And thinking of that makes him realise how close they are - not that it's a big realisation, but it's one that makes him smile back at her. ]
It's not for me, either. [ And he'll shake off his cloak a little more - oh, he'll have to sleep in these clothes, won't he? - before hanging it up. ] I like staying here anyway.

[And Rita knows well enough that she likes--looks forward to--hanging out with Tyr. So she's sort of teasing when she answers-] You'd better not dislike it.
Come on. [She doesn't bother shaking out her clothes much more than that; the sand's going to be everywhere, anyway, she figures. So now it's off to the study, as she takes off her coat and carries it over one arm.]

Would you come back to my place if I did? [ He follows behind her, slipping off his shoes as he does. There's a small shoot of pain from the one that book fell on, but after resting it, it's not too painful anymore. ]
action; ♥!
No way. You'd just have to stay here. [Huff! She would go back to his place anytime, though. Without noticing any pain he feels, she continues through the quiet, dark house to the open door of the study. Some of the floorboards creak, but...It's not like there's anything to be afraid of now.]

[ Hearing it creak does make him tense, but he relaxes himself. They're home now, so it's safe... He turns on a light nd continues inside. There's nothing off about it, at least... ]

[She glances back at him--not for reassurance that he's fine or anything, of course-! And then she leads the way into the cluttered room.] Instead of just coming over for those slumber parties?

[ And his face turns red when she says that, looking over at her again. It's not hard to navigate the room without looking even with all the books and paper on the ground. ]

[His expression makes her grin while she sets her coat down on a chair.] Weren't you the one who suggested it in the first place?

[ He sort of mumbles a response- ] It was a joke... Call it a visit.
