Okay, if--if nobody comes and picks them up, I'm not keeping them all.

[A slight blurring of the video as the camera rotates, and the picture focuses on no fewer than half a dozen cats lounging in various spaces in the study.

Yeah, guess who was busy during that robbing curse. Eyes is nowhere to be seen...because he's out of sight of the device, comfortably situated in Rita's lap.]

[ All these characters hate cats, most of all Kanone. ]

Probably. [ Is it purring? Ahhh. He doesn't look at her while her scratches behind the cat's ears. ] Kanone doesn't seem like the type to let things go if they reject him, though...

[Absolutely. He didn't want Eyes back at all.]

[Rita furrows her eyebrows at the statement, but--anything weird about it is probably just her imagination.] So you think he's that starved for attention from a cat?

[stargathering]

[ And Eyes is such a sweet cat! ]

...Yeah. [ Even if he agreed to give Eyes to Tyr for a bet, Tyr is sure that was just a bluff. ] Doesn't he seem lonely to you?

[blastiafreak]

[He was around Rita~]

[And Tyr is asking the wrong person that question.] Huh? What's lonely about him?

[stargathering]

[ ...Spoiled cat. ]

[ And Tyr isn't sure if talking to Kanone to Rita or...pretty much anyone he knows is a good idea at all. ] It's just the feeling I get, like he doesn't have much company.

[Spoiled or doomed?]

[While Rita sort of wonders why he's even mentioning it in the first place.] Maybe he spends too much time with that cat, after all.

[ Spoiled to death? ]

[ It totally isn't because he's worried about Kanone and himself a little! Tyr doesn't sound certain when he responds: ] Maybe...

--He's still getting this one whether it's the cat's fault of not, though.

[Hopefully not, but.;;]

She does find that response kind of weird, and is a little caught between curiosity and the fact that it's Kanone.] Then he can spend even more time with his cats. Why are you giving it to him, anyway?

[stargathering]

[ ... ;____; ]

Because he should have a cat that doesn't hate him, and you're going to put them out on the streets anyway... I don't think Kanone is cruel to cats if nothing else.

[ ...that came off a bit more strongly than he would have wanted. He looks back up at her. ] Would you rather he spent more time with you?

[The way he worded it makes it sound like she's just abandoning them--okay, maybe she sort of is, but he didn't have to say it like that. She crosses her arms uncomfortably and glances away.] I was just curious, all right? There's no way I'm going to waste my time with him.

[stargathering]

[ Tyr is pretty sure she is just abandoning them, so no guilt on his part! Even if he does sort of question doing this now. ] I didn't think so. It's just Eyes you care about, isn't it?

[blastiafreak]

[It's not like they're her responsibility or anything...] I don't care about him or his stupid cat!

[stargathering]

[ They put themselves there! ] ...You must have been really cursed to steal a cat you didn't care about from a guy like Kanone...

[blastiafreak]

[Exactly! She had nothing to do with it.] If I hadn't been really cursed, I wouldn't have all these cats in the first place!

[stargathering]

[ Right! Absolved of all blame! ] I don't know if you wouldn't have stolen a cat at all...

[blastiafreak]

[Pure and innocent! ...Right.] Of course I wouldn't! What would I need with a cat, anyway?

[stargathering]

[ ... :| idk. ] You seem pretty comfortable with that one, so... [ Looking at you and not-Eyes, Rita. ]

[._.] I'm not--He was just there, okay? [And she's going to stop petting him now. :|]

[stargathering]

[ Uh huh. ] ...Why don't you keep a cat?

[blastiafreak]

...Why should I? It's a pain to look after them, and they're always looking for attention when I'm busy.

[stargathering]

[ She actually has a point there. He sort of shrugs. ]

It can be nice to have a pet around. It's not like cats take that much attention anyway...

[blastiafreak]

[And she wonders if cats just don't like him or something.]

You can't be serious! They wouldn't leave me alone for five minutes, and they keep stepping on the books I'm trying to read!

[stargathering]

It's probably just annoying because you have a half dozen in here. But if you don't like the attention, stop giving in to them. [ ...and cats like tyr just fine thank you. :'| ]

I-I wasn't giving into any of them! They just wouldn't cut it out. [So she...gave in. :|]
