[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

He rests one of his hands on her shoulder after stroking her back a final time, and his breathing slows down. ]

Conscious of his movements, she glances at him out of the corner of her eye.] Any better?

[ They're safe, and they're together. It's the best he could ask for at the moment. And they really haven't ever hugged each other this long before—and if it wasn't the middle of the night and they weren't alone on the beach, he's sure they would have parted a while ago... He's glad she doesn't seem like she's in a rush to pull away now, though he wouldn't put up and protest if she did. ]

[It's actually pretty cool out here on the beach, too, though nothing compared to the touch of the ghosts. Besides, they're bundled up, and...She doesn't really want to let go, and if it wasn't so chilly, she wouldn't have much of an excuse...]

[ It's not unbearably cool for Tyr so long as they can keep each other warm along with being bundled up, but he almost wishes it was summer, too. There's something nice about the thought of sleeping together like this. Just being with her makes him feel more secure. ]

[ Despite his concerns, they're dim compared to the relief that she agreed to stay. He begins stroking her back again. ]

I don't know about hard, but...It's just easier to stay. [Her voice is calm now, and she leans her head against his while she moves her hand over his back.]

...Yeah. [ His hand moves up her back again before he runs his fingers through her hair. He has a lot of feelings at the moment, and he doesn't want to share any of them. ] As long as we're warm, there's no reason not to, anyway...

Right... [She has to admit to herself--certainly not out loud--that it's really comfortable, and she relaxes more, staring out over the ocean.] So there won't be a reason to move.

Mm... [ He runs smooths out her hair a few more times before he returns to caressing her back. His voice is soft and calm when he speaks now. ] Are you tired?

[She thinks a moment, and admits-] A little, I guess. I spent all day wandering around, or... [Or running, or struggling...]

Or- [ She was with him, and in the end, they weren't wandering. It definitely wasn't walking that tired him out... He hugs her more tightly. ] ...Yeah, I'm sort of tired, too... It's been a long day...

[She stays mostly still, just holding him and letting her fingers trace patterns on his back. It was a pretty bad curse for both of them, and because it's Tyr...she's not so ashamed to admit that it was rough on them.] I just don't want to see any more curses like that this month.
