[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]
[ooc: Tags slow forever. ._. Sorry!]

So do I! [ He walks along beside her, but doesn't kick at the rocks (his poor toes).
But it's at least exciting in a way when a length of rope coils around Rita's ankle and pulls (from her walking or from something else?) at her leg. ]

[Exciting might be one way to describe it...As she yelps in surprise and stumbles...totally gracefully...] Ah--hey!
action; ♥!
[ He stops and turns around to look at her. ] Are you okay?
[ Or maybe that's a dumb question, since the rope pulls at her again, with the rope seeming to twist into the darkness somewhere. If Tyr was attentive of the rope itself, he'd realise it's the same type as the one he dropped before. ]
action; ♥!
[She starts to snap back, but turns into a shout as she feels it pulling on her--and she tries to twist around and see what it is while shouting-] S-something's got me!
action; ♥!
[ He rushes over to her side and crouches down. It looks like it's just a simple loop, like one used to close a necklace. ] It's just a rope. [ He can't really sound relieved, though. It's attached to a length of rope that he can't see the end of, and he can see it lifted off the ground and pulled taut. He fumbles around in his cloak to try to find his knife, setting the device to shine into the darkness of the room. He can't have lost it... ]
action; ♥!
[She scowls, at first feeling silly that she might've overreacted, but still very aware that it's pulled taut on her ankle.] It's not just a rope! There has to be something at the other end of it!
action; ♥!
I know! [ He grips the rope to try to keep it still, but he can feel it being pulled, somewhat slowly, in his hand. ] I can cut a rope, though!
[ He looks up at her. ] Do you have anything?
action; ♥!
[She can feel it, too, and twists around trying to get a good look--it's tight around her ankle, though that doesn't stop her from yanking on it and trying to pull herself loose. She shakes her head at Tyr's question and just keeps tugging.] No! Just hurry up and cut the thing before I burn it!
action; ♥!
[ He doesn't want to have any more fire. The more she tugs, the more it tugs back with almost enough force to throw her off balance. It's giving Tyr a rope burn. Gritting his teeth, he lets go and just tries to find his knife. He didn't lose his device, so he should have lost that either, right? ]
action; ♥!
[Getting jerked forward doesn't stop her from trying to fight it. She has half a mind to start casting, anyway...]
action; ♥!
[ And the rope keeps pulling her. It's had enough playing around, though, and there's suddenly a violent tug forward. ]
action; ♥!
Either way, she yelps as she gets dragged forward on her back, and decides that she's had enough, too.] Forget it! I'm getting rid of this thing! O flickering blaze, burn...
action; ♥!
[ He hurries away from her. Changing is fair enough warning for him, though seeing her on her back like that doesn't feel right. Once she's free, he'll have to heal her anyway. The floor and those stones can't be good on her back as she's pulled across them. ]
action; ♥!

But Tyr is more concerned about it still burning around her ankle when it should have fallen apart by this point. ]
Rita?
[ Should be put it out? The answer seems obvious, and he starts a spell. ]
action; ♥!
[She kicks at it with her other foot, trying to get it to break apart, and she can feel the heat through her boot...]
action; ♥!
Tyr doesn't respond, but he can see that it's not normal, and he knows that she's going to get burned at the rate it's going. He stands stiffly about a foot away from her and doesn't take his eyes off of her when he finishes casting- ]
Kindness Drops!

Are you burned?

[Maybe if Tyr's strong enough to keep it from pulling her again, she can try to unloop it with her hands...]

[ He just doesn't know how yet. As long as he's holding the rope, though, it's not moving quickly at least. ]

[ How did it get tied? That doesn't make sense. He continues to hold the rope, but even with his gloves on, the rope is being pulled on more incessantly than before. ]
Can you untie it?
[ Quickly? ]
action; ♥!
[Wait, she's got it! Immediately, she throws the rope down and backs away from it.] It's off!
action; ♥!
[ He does the same when she says it's off, scrambling back from it like it's a snake. He looks over to her after he does, thinking that it's good that she got out and that it wasn't constricting on her leg... ]
