[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

It looks like it... [ Cold, wide-open, no real floor... ] If it is, we must have been on the ground floor before now, so once we find the stairs...

[She squints into the darkness, then turns to Tyr.] Wherever they are. I'm gonna use some magic to give us some more light.

All right. [ He watches her, wondering what she's going to do. They needed a torch before, so he's curious. ]
action; ♥!
Close your eyes. It'll just be temporary. [She can't exactly turn her blastia into a flashlight; a quick flash is all she can do, and she squints around as it goes off. It was quick, so she's not entirely sure if she saw shapes to their right, but...] Hmm...I think there was a wall or something to the left. We might find a staircase over there.

[ He doesn't see anything but a bright flash behind his eyelids, and he trusts Rita to know what she's talking about, so he just nods. He still wonders what exactly she did. ]
Okay... [ He starts towards the left. ] You could really see something that quickly?
[ ooc: brb lunch! o/ ]

[She moves with him, blinking the slight spots out of her eyes.]
Not much. It's pretty hard to tell.
[ooc: Okay, enjoy! o/]

Mm... [ He should have expected that, and that she can't see well after that flash. ] But you saw a wall at least.

[She is at least making a mental note to put together a proper formula for lighting.] Yeah...And there was something else, but...I didn't really get a good look.

What did it look like? [ Even a vague description is interesting to him. Though really, if they're not checking it out, it probably wasn't interesting, he thinks. Probably a support beam. ]

Hmm...it wasn't important, so I didn't really think about it...[Now that she is, though, she remembers they might've looked like sticks, or maybe-] I guess...they might've been bones or something...

...Bones? [ His eyebrows knit in uncertainty when he looks over at her. ] Don't joke around like that.

[ He wished she was joking. It just brings back memories of how he thought the room looked like a dungeon. ] I know, but...
...They probably weren't real anyway. This place has only existed for a day; there wouldn't be any bones.
[ This is Tyr's way of making himself feel better. ]

[Rita will try not to think about that, so instead of arguing, she just urges-] Whatever, let's just forget about them! It's not like they were important.

[ He hums and tries to see if there's anything his light can pick up in the dark. It can't penetrate all that far, Tyr realises, now that his eyes have adjusted. Nevertheless, the room seems totally still and uninhabited save for the two of them, and that's good. ] That's not so bad, then...

[Rita's still worried about the things that pulled them down here, but she's trying to ignore that...Still, it's hard not to imagine what could be just beyond the little bit of light that comes from Tyr's device.] Yeah...Come on, let's get this over with!
