[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]
[ooc: Tags slow forever. ._. Sorry!]

I have a fire rune if we need to attack and a water rune if anything else happens. We'll be okay.

ifwhen they get out and she calms down, she'll have to apologize to Tyr. For now, she glares at the shadows, but Tyr mentioning his water rune makes her remember something.]...Hey. If it comes to healing, you'll have to take care of it.
action; ♥!
Of course, part of the reason for that is because of what she says next. He looks at her in confusion. ]
What do you mean? [ He's a better healer than she is, but that's irrelevant to Tyr. ]
action; ♥!
Her voice is a little shakier than she'd like it to be when she replies.] I mean...I'm making Yuri practice with it. So I don't have the rune.
action; ♥!
Then I'll heal you in the meantime - [ and he adds hastily ] - if you need it. You were fine without the rune before, so...
[ A hand comes to rest on Rita's shoulder. While Tyr's holding both the torch and her hand. ]
action; ♥!
So, just...[She relaxes a little bit with Tyr's hand on her shoulder, feeling a little stupid for worrying, and squeezes his hand.
...The hand that's not on her shoulder, even though the torch isn't anywhere near her, either...
Abruptly, she stiffens, eyes wide.] W-wait a minute...You're...That's not... [It can't be Tyr's hand, meaning--suddenly she whirls around and backs away.] Aah! G-get away!
action; ♥!
And Tyr thinks she just relaxes because they're holding hands and she trusts his healing abilities... He even smiles a little.
Until she freaks out again. He walks back with her, turning around to try to find what caused her to turn and cry out like that. His eyes catch sight of a long arm whipping back into the darkness, and he thought he almost heard something giggling.
But Tyr does know one thing: They are not going to get attacked here. He glares out at the shadows and holds onto her hand tightly. ] I'll get rid of it.
action; ♥! And heading to sleep. Night!
Rita's grip on Tyr's hand is nearly vice-like as she stares in shock into the shadows.] W-what the hell is that?! It's like it--I mean, where'd it even come from?!
action; ♥! Good night! o/
He's definitely not letting go of her hand, so she can cling to it all she wants. ]
It doesn't matter! It has to be a monster, so there's a way to get rid of it!
[ He has to be confident in that, he thinks, or there's no point to him starting to cast now. ]
action; ♥! Thanks~ And morning!
Then hurry up, already! [She would've blasted the shadows away herself if Tyr hadn't started casting. Instead, she glances around to make sure nothing's sneaking up on them.]
action; ♥! Good morning~!
[ Tyr hopes nothing will sneak up on him as he casts. It can take a while for the spell to complete, though.
And suddenly, he pauses just to quickly tell her- ] Once I finish, we're running.
[ -and back to casting. ]
action; ♥!
O-okay! [She doesn't bother asking which way; she's set on tugging him in the direction of the trailing rope as she returns her attention to the shadows in front--they're moving more quickly now, almost like they're afraid...or maybe excited.]
action; ♥!
[ They better be cowering in fear, but Tyr won't even speculate. He needs the concentration to cast, and he closes his eyes as he finishes: ]
Explosion!
[ And Rita will know just where they're running: Tyr turns on his heel and runs in the opposite direction. ]
action; ♥! Now that I can get threads to load-!
[She's caught a little by surprise--partly from the size of the spell he decides to cast and partly because he goes in a completely different direction. It doesn't stop her from following him easily enough; only an idiot would run towards the spell blowing apart the room that's now behind them.]
action; ♥! Haha, yes! No more fighting for them!!
[ The sound of everything burning and coming apart distracts from any other sounds that might rise out of there. Even if they're just shadows, the room is lit up enough now to get rid of all of those, too. Even when they're outside the room, Tyr isn't going to stop running. ]
At least there won't be any monsters left out of that.
action; ♥! Yeah, thankfully~!
There's no way those things could get out of that! [Just as long as they're normal monsters. She doesn't look back, just keeps running with Tyr as a blast of hot air blows past them, sparks showering the corridor.]
action; ♥! LJ is doing well!
[ The hot, dry air, the fire everywhere and its glow on the walls...it reminds him of the floating fortress, but just like then, he's just going to get out of there before it burns up completely. ]
I hope not... If nothing else, it should block them off enough to keep them from following us.
action; ♥! Surprisingly well now!
[The hot, stifling air is uncomfortable and annoying to Rita at worst. If it gets too out of control before they can find their way out, she'll just use her water spells to get rid of the flames. Beyond that, the fire isn't what she's worried about.] Forget about those things now! Let's just get out!
action; ♥! Yeah! No problems! Yet!
[ Tyr is worried about the house falling in on them more than anything, after all. As they run, the lights in the other rooms flicker on - both the electric ones and the candles - making the torch no longer needed. They're still in the maze of repeating rooms, though. ]
action; ♥! Aha, and hopefully none to come...
[The maze is frustrating her, too. It doesn't seem to be ending at all.]
action; ♥! /crosses fingers...
action; ♥! /hopes!
[Not that she has any other ideas, either. She's so caught up in complaining that she doesn't notice that the next room isn't quite as identical as the others: there's one extra door set into the left wall.]
action; ♥!
[ And maybe that's the way out, he hopes! At least out of the maze. Even if she tries to keep going the same way, he pulls her towards the other door. ] Let's go this way!
