[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]
[ooc: Tags slow forever. ._. Sorry!]

[She sure can't see anything either, and brings up a hand to cover her mouth and nose after she coughs again. This isn't right at all; she's sure it's still getting warmer, too.] Come on--hurry up!

If we go any faster, we'll trip! [ He coughs, too, after saying that and tries to resist the urge to take in more air. At least he thinks they'll trip, considering they're meant to be going through a hole... He hasn't found it yet, though, and the floor seems to be more plush now than it was before, making him wonder if they got lost. ]
action; ♥!
You wanna-[another cough]-die instead?
[She doesn't even notice the floor, just holding Tyr's hand and trying to make out anything beyond the thick smoke.]
action; ♥!
cutetease! :< ][ He grimaces and shakes his head. ] No. You're right. [ He coughs again and just about spits out the words. Why is it so warm? He feels like he's sweating beneath his cloak and gloves.
The torchlight flickers as Tyr rushes forward further, his feet still not catching on the busted wall and the smoke still not thinning out - but they should be close, right? ]

[She easily keeps up with him, scowling behind her hand. They have to be close--she's almost certain they've covered the distance, so...
So as they keep going, why aren't they getting out?] H-hey! Are you sure you're going the right way?
action; ♥!
We only walked forward, so...this has to be the right way. [ He knows they just turned around. Even if he was a little off, they should run into a wall, right? The fire is getting weaker, and with the lack of visibility, Tyr's about ready to blow it out the rest of the way so he can cover his face, too. Or maybe a sudden rush of hot, dense air that hits them from the front will do it instead. ]
action; ♥!
[She'd have something to say to that, but the sudden gust of thick air makes her gasp--both from the abruptness of the rush and the extinguishing of their torch, which plunges them into darkness.]
Wha--where the hell did that come from?!
action; ♥!
I don't know. [ But he's tense and just freezes in place, bracing himself for...something. He glances over to Rita, though he can't see her, like he wants to ask if they should run away. ]
action; ♥!
[Rather than stay there in the choking air where they can't even see, Rita tightens her grip on his hand and abruptly yanks him forward.] Come on!
action; ♥!
All right- [ He stumbles forward, not fighting her though, mentally, he's pretty reluctant with how heavy and warm the air is. He tucks the torch into the side of his arm and covers his mouth, but it just makes everything seem even hotter. ]
Where are we going?
action; ♥!
[She pulls him and moves blindly in the darkness as beads of sweat tickle her forehead.] Anywhere but here!
action; ♥!
M- mm. [ What if they're just going in deeper, though? Tyr keeps that thought to himself as he follows her. There's a low rumbling in the room they're in, but there's no definite source. It's just there, everywhere. ]
action; ♥!
What was that? [As uneasy as she is, she doesn't stop, moving even more quickly. As long as they can get out of the smoke, she's pretty sure they can still blast their way out.]
action; ♥!
Let's not find out. [ He coughs again, and he does not mind running as long as he doesn't lose her hand. When will they find a wall to blast, though? Tyr knows that they should have run into something a while ago, but they're still trapped like this... On the bright side, there's less smoke and less of that burnt smell in the air - it's just hot still. ]
action; ♥!
You think I want to stick around? Let's just find a way out! [Wherever it is. Rita pulls him forward more insistently, frustration eating at her. They should have reached something by now. The thinning smoke is a small relief, even if she still hates the heat.]
action; ♥!
Okay! [ However they're going to do that. He wants to turn back, but between her tugging and the smoke thinning out, he's less willing. ] Do you actually know where you're going?
[ After a few more steps, the floor drops off and returns to the hard texture of the floor that ran through the rest of the house. ]
action; ♥!
[Her boots make dull thwacks on the hard floor now, and it makes her feel as though they're finally getting somewhere. She snaps out a simple-] Somewhere else!
[So she has no idea, really. As soon as they're far enough away from the heat and acrid smell, she'll stop, but they'll keep going blindly in the darkness for now. Unless...] Hey, gimme the torch.

[ She's kind of annoying him with her attitude, mostly because he's not feeling well still. Nevertheless, he pokes her shoulder with the end of it for her to take. ] Are you sure we should light it again? After just getting out of all that smoke...
