[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]
I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-
[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!
[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

Since she can't see what he's doing, the movements and noises make her cautious. There's a wary tone to her voice as she fumbles around.] What are you doing over there...?

Well, I have a whip, but...I can't see what I'm doing with it. [And she doesn't want to hurt Tyr in the dark.]

...And the range isn't enough to really search with it, right? We can just make a second round if I don't find anything...
[ Tyr isn't that worried about hurting her, mostly because he's keeping it to the opposite side of her, but he's swinging it like he would a cat toy - not with enough force to actually hurt anything. ]
[ ooc: Going to see the dept. chair! See you later! /o/ ]

I'm trying! [ With that, he whips the rope, and hears and feels it slap around something. ]
[ ooc: Thanks :D It went well! ]

[She turns her head and squints, but still can't see.] What is it? Did you get something?
[ooc: Yay! That's great :D]

I think so. [ He pulls on her and starts following the rope. ] Come on, it should be a chair or something.
[ ooc: Yes~! (party) ]

[And she follows along blindly, eager to get this over with.] Just as long as it's anything that'll burn for a while.
[ooc: \o/]

If it's not, we can try the rope after this... [ He pulls up the last of the rope and stops. ]
It should be right in front of us. Go for it.

If it'll even burn slow enough... [But more importantly, they have a potential torch, so Rita goes ahead and shuffles forward, stretching out her hand to search for whatever the rope caught.]
action; ♥!
It'll be something, though... [ He'd think the door would burn slowly, but... When she reaches out, she'll feel something hard and flat covered in a velvety, worn sort of fabric. ]
action; ♥!
...Forget it. I think you got the chair. [And she thinks the chair will be more useful...This would be so much easier if they had something to see, so she uses a tiny flame to light the fabric.]
action; ♥!
[ The flame catches onto the fabric, which burns with a strong, musky sort of smell that makes Tyr cover his face with his mostly-free hand. ] It's disgusting...
[ But it does burn, and it's obvious it's the chair as the fire slights up the surrounding area bit by bit. ]
action; ♥!
[Rita groans and makes a face, not too pleased, either.] This thing's probably all rotten or something...
[But at least now they can see. She feels a bit more secure now, and tries to ignore the smell as she charges her book with mana and slams it down on one of the chairs arms, causing it to splinter.]

Yeah... Rats have probably been using it, too...
[ He'll leave the breaking apart to her. His staff isn't getting anywhere near those flames. ]
Keep that up. It'll burn better.
action; ♥!
Ugh...[She makes a face, but raises the book again.]
I'm trying to break off a- [Smack goes her book, the arm of the chair snapping right off this time, and Rita grabs it before sticking one end in the flames.]
action; ♥!
Ah- [ Even better!, he thinks. He shouldn't really be surprised she managed to do that with just a book, but he's still impressed. It takes a few seconds for the arm to catch, but it eventually lights up and burns just as well as the rest of the chair. ] Hopefully it won't burn too quickly...
action; ♥!
[It's good enough for Rita, and she replies while remembering to cast some water on the rest of the burning chair.] If it does, then we'll just smash up something else.
action; ♥!
Right... [ He hopes they don't have to. He saves his magic and lets her put it out, and instead looks back at the way they game. As he looks around, though, he notices an odd shadow on the wall. Staring at it, he shifts a little to see if it belongs to him or Rita... ]
action; ♥! Sorry, was working on research stuff! And now going to bed...;3;
[Rita certainly wants to get out as soon as possible. She shifts her own attention to the blown-apart door rather than the shadows on the walls
which she knows will just creep her out anyway, so she notices nothing especially off.It's not her shadow, though.] Let's just hurry up and go so we don't have to, okay?
