[The video's not very clear when it comes on; it's dark and gloomy, showing hints of thick dust and cobwebs--a glimpse of a window reveals deep fog--and then it shifts to Rita's wide-eyed face. When she speaks, she's trying very hard to pretend she's calm...and failing pretty horribly.]

I-is anyone else stuck in this weirdo place? I mean, it's not like I need help or anything, but-

[A loud creak and sudden clatter of footsteps interrupts her, the shutters to the window abruptly blowing open, and she jumps with a yelp.] Aah--! Uh--it's not sc--just where's the exit, already?!

[Maybe realizing that the video's still recording her little freak-out, she quickly shuts it off.]

And now it's Tyr's turn to tug her back. He doesn't have an explanation for the wall being there, though he tries to brush it off. Totally not weird! ] It's a dead end. Come on- [ He motions towards the second door. ] -let's try the other one.

I can see that's it a dead end! [And she's furious! She glowers at the second door, though she moves toward it after a moment.] Like this one's gonna be any different...

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

It might be! What's with you? [ She's so angry! Not that Rita is never angry, but still! He opens the next door for her! ]

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

W-what do you mean, what's with me? [She's very angry! And inconsiderate...As soon as the door's open, she glowers at the entrance, which...leads to another identical room.] Oh, what a pain!

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

You keep freaking out. [ Identical room is annoying, but Tyr isn't going to whine about it. He strides in, pulling her along with him. ]

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

I-I am not freaking out-! [Rita does enough whining for him...She moves with him, and this time, the door creaks loudly shut behind them.]

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

Then you're getting worked up. [ At the sound of the door closing, Tyr flinches and spins his head to look back behind them. It hadn't done that yet, but...

Nope nope nope, not thinking it's anything strange at all. After that little pause, he starts walking towards the other side of the room again. ]

[blastiafreak]

[Rita whirls right around with him to gape at the door, staying in place as he starts to move.] W-what the--hey! You're not seriously going that way, are you?

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ He stops when she does. Eventually. There's a bit of distance between them now, and Rita. Rita is definitely getting worked up. ] You want to go through the one that just closed on us instead?

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

[Despite the distance--or maybe because of it--her grip on his hand tightens.] Of course! It obviously wants us to keep going, right? Let's find a different way!

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ Tyr does not mind this, but gosh Rita. ]

What "it"? The door just closed randomly, and there's only three ways to go.

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

[I-it's not like she's suggesting there'd be ghosts or anything...!]

I'm talking about the curse! Got it?

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ Totally not. ]

Okay, I get it. [ Can't even snark at her. Just...kinda annoyed. ] Now calm down already.

action; ♥! and I have to go to class soon. :<

[blastiafreak]

[Of course-!]

[She crosses her arms, getting sick of being told to calm down nevermind that it's kind of her own fault] Then let's go, okay?

action; ♥! Aww, have fun! /o/

[stargathering]

All right. [ He's going to tell her until she stops freaking out over nothing! Even if the door closing was really weird... He takes her hand again and tugs her closer to him. ] This way.

action; ♥! Thaaaanks~ \o\

[But being trapped in a cursed house causes freakouts! ;_; She puts up no resistance besides a grumble.

Of course, if they try the doorknob of the door that just closed, they'll find it's now locked.]

[ Poor whiny Rita... Whiny scaredy Rita...

Tyr's eyes narrow and tugs at the handle again, wiggling and tugging at it.

He sighs heavily. ] Damn it...

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

[At least Tyr has enough patience...probably...

Rita stares for a moment, eyes wide, and then grabs the handle herself to give it a furious wrench--and it won't budge.] This--I can't believe this!

Stand back, and I'll blast it open!

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ For now...

Tyr hesitates and thinks about stopping her, but... Well, it could be a way out. He takes a few steps back, and if he has to, he'll take Rita with him. ]

All right... Just be careful.

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

That door's as good as gone! [With that okay, Rita's response is to immediately start casting.

A fire spell, of course.]

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ Always with the fire spells. For a second, he just watches, then, hey, pulling her out of her stance. ]

Wait, you shouldn't use fire- You could set the rest of the room of fire if you do.

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

[Because fire spells are awesome. Rita's far less worried and scowls when he pulls her.]

What are you doing? You have a water rune--just put it out if a fire starts!

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ He gives her a sceptical look, but lets go of her. He hopes he can just put it out with a water rune... He might have to use it to heal them instead. ]

Fine... Just be careful with your spells.

action; ♥!

[blastiafreak]

Who do you think you're talking to? [She can control her own spells--or so she'd like to claim. She returns to her casting stance, muttering the chant and then casting a fireball at the door.]

action; ♥!

[stargathering]

[ The ever-confident Rita. Tyr smiles a little at that and steps back to give her space. He does take a defensive stance to make a shield if there's shrapnel, though. He knows how her spells go.

And since there's no creepy portrait to blow out her fireball, the spell hits, creating a splintery, charred hole in the wooden door. A few little embers flicker around the edges, and after a second, they become the only source of light as the candles' flames and overhead light go out. ]
