I know I don't. [ Part of him wants to just stubbornly keep going regardless of where they end up, but the rope's path doesn't feel that safe anymore. ]

[ Okay! Enjoy! \o ]

...Ugh, whatever. Let's just go! [She doesn't want to just stand around--that seems like an even worse option to her--so she pulls Tyr forward again.]

All right, all right. [ And on they go! Tyr didn't want to stand around any more either, but she had him questioning himself. The rope goes out and open door to a narrow corridor. ]

[ Welcome back!! ]

[She slows for half a step as they enter the corridor, but it's not like hesitating will get them anywhere...Onward they go.]

[Thank you~! /o/]

[ He notices, and gives her a little look, but as long as they're going, he won't embarrass her by asking about it.

The cord is pulled tight as they walk, and just looking at it gives him a headache, with its dim lighting and unfortunate lack of windows. Tyr doesn't really remember walking through this particular passage, either. ...But he's already told himself by now that his memory of the house is spotty at best. ]

[Her eyes dart around the walls of the corridor, though there's not much to see, except--a bunch of portraits.

Rita abruptly stops short.] W-wait a minute...

[ He looks back at her again, not seeing anything wrong aside from the fact it's sort of dark. Sure there are a lot of portraits - some that are only about the size of a sheet of paper and some that could easily taller than either of them - but they're just paint and canvas; nothing to worry about. ]

What's wrong?

[And she whips around to sputter at him-] What do mean, what's wrong?!

[Wait, wait, she doesn't want to take her eyes off of the portraits. Quickly, she turns back to stare down the hallway.] W-we can't go this way!

[ He takes an automatic step backwards, and takes a second to look between her and the pictures. Not seeing anything... He grips her hand and starts walking. ]

Get a hold of yourself. You're imagining things now.

Just what do you think I'm imagining?! [Of course, nothing's happening yet...But she's still not going! She tries to tug Tyr back again.] Hey! I said we can't go this way!

[ He doesn't drag her for now, but he looks at her suspiciously. ] What's wrong with this way?

[ He really doesn't know what she's imagining; it's her imagination! ]

[She's not imaginating anything-!! ;_; He gets another insistent tug on his hand.] Those things are alive, okay?! Now let's go!

[ Tyr still thinks she is, and really, he pities her. He gives her a sad sort of look and turns around to walk with her, letting the line go little by little. ] Okay... We'll have less rope if we go this way, though.

[She won't be relieved until they're far away from the portraits but even though she's glad he's agreeing, she doesn't understand that look.] ...What? Just cut the rope off--we'll have plenty!

[ He sighs and starts going through his pockets to check that he brought a small knife to do that with. He wasn't actually planning on a rescue mission in full. ] I hope so... If we don't, we'll need to go back that way anyway.

[And Rita doesn't have all of her tools with her, either. She grips Tyr's hand tightly as he searches.] No way...We're not going through there!

[ She's so scared, he thinks again. He gives her hand a little squeeze back. ] Okay, we won't... Just try to relax.

I'll relax when we've gotten out! [It was kind of stupid of her to get her hopes up, really.]

[ He tenses, but keep walking. He doesn't know how to calm her down; with Katara, he could just assure her and hold her, and she'd be okay, but he doubts that'd help Rita. ]

We're going to get out, but you need to get a hold of yourself first... Panicking won't help you.

Wh-who said I was panicking? [Even if maybe--just maybe--she's working herself up more than she should. She doesn't calm down a whole lot, though.]

[ Don't make him resort to hugging her. ] It's obvious you are, Rita. [ And he'll just walk more slowly. ]

[That could scare her, too...!] I...I'm not! [Not that she's doing much to prove it...Though she looks off to the side instead of glancing over her shoulder. Totally not scared...]

[ Yet he really might do it-! This is what happens when Katara is the one who teaches him how to comfort people!

He huffs a little, and he's about to stop and try to snap her out of it. This isn't like her as far as he knows. ] You're a bad liar.

[H-he gets all touchy-feely?!]

Sh-ahut up. Just keep moving! [She'd rather order him around than stop pretending.]

[ ...Yep. Pretty much. ]

Whenever you lead the way. [ And he'll be a brat to her. ]
